"You will leave if I sleep." He said, and his words struck me directly in the heart. Yes, I am going to leave him once he accepts Ivaan.

"So, you don't suspect anyone who might have shot you?" The inspector asked, and Alexander shook his head.
"Then we'll take our leave." The inspector said before exiting the room. Everyone stood in silence until my baby broke the tension with his giggles.
I rubbed my nose against his, and he grabbed my cheek and started sucking on my chin. He's literally angry at me.
But he doesn't know that his little actions don't hurt me; they tickle me. I laughed at his angry face, and he resumed sucking my chin.
His little attacks!
"Nova, you need to eat. You haven't eaten since yesterday." Mom said, approaching me. She placed the lunchbox on the table and began opening it.
"Give him to me." Alan said, and I handed Ivaan to him. He went outside with him just as Ivaan was about to cry.
I started eating; I was really hungry, especially after feeding Ivaan.
I sighed when, moments later, I heard Ivaan crying. Alan came back into the room with his face dripping with Ivaan's saliva.
"Your son is so stubborn." He said and was about to give him to me but stopped-
"Give him to me." Alexander said. Alan handed Ivaan to his father, and Ivaan stopped crying as soon as he saw his dad's face.
I laughed inwardly when I saw Ivaan now sucking on Alexander's face. But my laughter faded as I thought-
If I leave Alexander, do I have to leave Ivaan too?

"Carefully!" I said, helping Alexander lie down on the bed. I was too scared to hurt him. He chuckled, and I rolled my eyes.
It's been a week since the accident. Today, Alexander was discharged from the hospital. Dad arranged for a nurse in case of emergencies, as the doctor recommended.
