Chapter 11: Set and sail

The sun had just begun to rise over Konoha, casting a warm golden glow across the village. Tetsuya made his way to the main gate, where he was scheduled to meet the genin teams participating in the upcoming Chunin Exams. Today, they would embark on their journey to Kumogakure, and Tetsuya was eager to see the potential of this young shinobi.

As he approached the gate, he saw both two teams already gathered. Their sensei stood nearby, offering last-minute advice and encouragement.

One of the jonin, a tall man with a kind face and short brown hair, waved at Tetsuya. "Tetsuya-san, over here!"

Tetsuya joined him, noting the group of young shinobi gathered around. "Daigo, it's good to see you. These must be your students."

Daigo nodded. "Yes, meet Team 3. This is Ren Nakamura, Aiko Sato, and Daichi Hirose."

Tetsuya smiled at the young faces. Ren was a confident-looking boy with spiky black hair, Aiko had a calm and composed demeanor with her short brown hair, and Daichi looked enthusiastic, his blond hair and bright eyes full of energy.

"It's a pleasure to meet you all," Tetsuya said. "I've heard good things about your team."

"Thank you, Tetsuya-san," Daigo replied, then nodded toward another group. "Let me introduce you to the other team."

As they moved to the next team Tetsuya eyes scanned them curiously, the sensei, a tall man with dark hair and a stern expression, greeted him.

"Tetsuya-san, this is Team 6," he said. "This is Yuki Minazuki, and his students Tenma Izumo, Shinko Inari, and Itachi Uchiha."

"Nice to meet you Yuki-san" said Tetsuya. "It's a pleasure for me Senju-sama" nod Minazuki.

Tetsuya's gaze fell on the youngest member of the team, a boy with intense eyes and a calm demeanor that belied his age. "Hello guys, nice to meet you, I heard you are quite talented especially you Itachi-kun."

Itachi bowed respectfully. "Thank for your kindness Tetsuya-sama."

Tetsuya studied the young Uchiha. "You must be proud of your heritage."

Itachi's expression remained neutral. "I strive to honor my clan and the village."

Yuki Minazuki nodded. "Itachi is exceptionally gifted. His skills surpass many older shinobi."

Tetsuya smiled. "That's high praise. I'm looking forward to seeing your performance in the Chunin Exams."

As they continued to talk, Tetsuya couldn't help but notice the determination and potential in the young shinobi around him. These were the future protectors of Konoha, and he felt a renewed sense of responsibility to guide and support them.

After the introductions, Tetsuya took a moment to address all the genin teams. "I want you all to know that participating in the Chunin Exams is a significant step in your journey as shinobi. It's a time to test your skills, learn from your experiences, and grow stronger. Remember, the bonds you form with your teammates and the lessons you learn will shape you into the shinobi you are meant to become."

The young genins listened intently, their eyes filled with determination and resolve. Tetsuya could see the spark of potential in each of them, especially in Itachi, whose gaze remained unwavering.

As the gathering prepared to set off, Tetsuya found himself standing beside Daigo once more. "It's an impressive group," he said.

Daigo nodded. "They are. Itachi, in particular, is remarkable for his age."

Tetsuya agreed. "He reminds me of his clan's potential. I hope he uses his talents wisely."

Daigo looked thoughtful. "He will. He's driven by a strong sense of duty."

Tetsuya smiled. "That's good to hear. I'll be keeping a close eye on their progress."

The group set off towards Kumogakure, the excitement of the journey ahead could be sensed in the air. As they traveled, Tetsuya felt a sense of anticipation for the upcoming Chunin Exams. The future of Konoha was in good hands, and he was determined to do everything he could to support and guide these young shinobi.
