(Y/N) woke up to the sound of his alarm, feeling groggy. After the previous day, it could've been way worse though. (Y/N) just sat in bed recalling the events that happened the night before. The Hollow, meeting a weird shopkeeper who could also see spirits, and becoming a shinigami. (Y/N) was tempted to tell himself that it was all a dream, however his body said otherwise.
After a few minutes procrastinating, (Y/N) got up and dragged himself to his bathroom to take a shower. Nothing felt real to (Y/N). (Y/N) let his mind wander again, think back to the events that took place after his conversation with Urahara.
(Flashback)
(Y/N): I'm so dead...
Urahara: What do you mean?
Urahara didn't seem too concerned but decided to question the young man regardless.
(Y/N): I haven't contacted my family since I left the house and now I'm extremely late. Not only that, but if I come home looking like this, they'll have a heart attack.
Urahara gave a chuckle before reassuring (Y/N)
Urahara: Don't worry about that my dear protege, we can handle that issue no problem.
(Y/N) *questioning look* What do you mean by that?
Urahara: Well...
(Timeskip within a Flashback)
As (Y/N) walked towards the entrances to his home, he felt himself sweating bullets. He made his way in front of the door and gently and slowly turned the knob. As he took a peek through the door he saw his Father, (F/N) (L/N) snoring on the couch.
(Y/N) wiped the sweat off of his forehead. Knowing that he at least dodge a bullet of not waking up his father from his hibernation. (Y/N) then snuck his way through the living room and upstairs to his room.
(Y/N): So if what Mr. Urahara said was correct, (S/N) won't remember me leaving the house and Dad won't know I ever went missing in the first place. I hope he's right... I still have to bring up the fact that I don't have a phone anymore... Heh I'll worry about it later.
(Y/N) still thought Urahara was weird. He found it equally as weird that he has a contraption that alters memories of normal civilians. It was convenient. Too convenient...
The only thing (Y/n) can do now is wait until the morning and see if the results was true.
(Back to present day)
(Y/N) got out of the shower and threw on his school uniform. (Y/N) usually walks to school with Ichigo, so (Y/N) made his way to Ichigo's house. He would usually call but... you know, no cellphone.
(Y/N) walked down the stairs and was met face to face with his father and sister. The moment of truth. If they didn't make a comment about his rather late appearance then he was in the clear.
"Alright... moment of truth..."
(Y/N): Morning guys
(S/N): Morning (Y/N)! How'd you sleep last night!
(F/N): Well I hope?
'EVERYTHING IS NORMAL!?'
(Y/N): J-Just a bit tired, but otherwise, I'm good...
(Y/N) took a quick glance at his father. (F/N) was a police officer. A police detective to be specific. Because of his job he usually gets home late or works odd hours. (Y/N) and (S/N) understand that (F/N) does it to support the family. He started talking a lot more hours at work after (M/N) died.
(Y/N): So how was work dad?
(F/N): Well... it started of as normal but we eventually started getting calls of explosions around the town-
