Prologue

Hi guys, here's my fourth story! I truly hope you will love it as much as the others. I will do my best to make it as good as I can.

July 2012

"Ayla! Are you almost done?"
Ayla sighs and rolls her eyes. Her dad is so impatient. Tonight is a very important night and she has to look her best.

"Yeah dad just a minute!" She yells back.
He can be so annoying. Even though Robert Walters is a loving husband for his wife Bianca and a good father for Ayla. He just can't relax and is always worried they are running late.

Maybe it's his job. As a financial manager at the FIA he is under a lot of pressure. There's so much money involved and he has to make sure it all goes to the right places and it has to be there on time for events and salaries.

Ayla turns back to the mirror. Tonight she will graduate high school. After this summer vacation she can finally start to go to college for Marketing and Communications. Once she finishes that she wants to work for one of the F1 teams. Preferably Red Bull as that's her favorite team and Christian already promised her he would hire her once she is done.

With her father working for the FIA, Ayla has spent most her free time going with him to races. She practically grew up in the garages and hospitality suites.
She has known Christian since she first came to the track and he is like an uncle for her.

She is close friends with Sebastian Vettel who has been with Red Bull for a couple of years now. He had some struggles at first, but she was there when he finally got that first championship almost two years ago. He is like a big brother for her and they are very close.
She loves Mark Webber, his team mate as well, the older driver always made time for her whenever she was there, pulling her ponytail when she was little and teasing her when she had a crush on a boy.

It's safe to say that the Red Bull team is like her family. Her extended family of course.
Her actual brother John doesn't care about racing. He never wanted to join Ayla and her dad when they went to the tracks. But that only meant Ayla and her father have one thing they could share together. It also made her dad feel like he can interfere in her life and he is very protective. Not that it bothers her, she does what she wants, but she is a smart girl and won't get into trouble.

Her brother is quite a bit older as Ayla, their mom got pregnant when she was 19 and then Robert immediately proposed to her. John was born nine years before Ayla and they never really bonded.

He is now married and lives in the North of the Netherlands. Ayla and her parents live in Zandvoort, very close to the circuit and although there hasn't been a F1 race there since 1985, that doesn't mean Ayla doesn't go there every chance she gets.

Luckily there's the Classic F1 there this weekend where she will go to. Christian is there with Seb and Mark and Seb invited her to come to the party on Saturday night. She decided to go as it would be a great way to celebrate the fact that she is getting her diploma today.

She applies one last layer of mascara on her thick eyelashes, making her blue eyes stand out even more. She curled her hair a bit so it cascades down her shoulders and back in long wavy curls.
Before going downstairs where her parents are waiting she looks at herself in the tall mirror that stands in the corner of her room.

With her hands she smooths some non existing wrinkles out of her white, chiffon wrap dress.
Her dad will probably say it's too short, but for her it feels fine. It reaches halfway her thighs and doesn't even have a really deep cleavage. Besides, she is 19 and she knows she isn't too shabby looking, so why not dress to make you feel good about yourself.
