After what has been an amazing day at the track, Ayla is now walking back to her bike so she can go home to change for the party later. She just had a pizza in the restaurant above the pit boxes so she has a good base to top off with some good cocktails.
It was awesome to see the old cars going around the track, Seb and Mark both had a blast and she is pretty sure so did the others.
When she saw Kimi he had half a grin on his face. He said maybe two words passing by, but she is used to that from him. She always feels lucky if he says more than one word, so two is a win.
She saw Daniel walking by before she went out to the exit and he smiled at her, showing his silver braces that actually look so cute on him. She used to have them as well and she felt so self conscious about them. But now she saw that braces aren't that bad. At least not on Daniel.
He seemed like a nice guy. A bit shy maybe, but his smile was wide and his eyes lit up when he smiled at her. He really has beautiful brown eyes, and those curls, they were all over the place but that made him look mischievous. She's sure he can be a lot of fun if he relaxes a little. Maybe tonight she will see a different side of him, maybe she should get him drunk to loosen him up a bit.
Enjoying the evening sun she cycles home, in her head she is going through her closet to think about what she will wear. She is thinking she will either go for her little, black dress or maybe she could go a little bit more glam and choose her silver, sparkly dress she knows her dad is going to hate.
She bought it with Amy a while ago and she loves it, but it's pretty short. When she got it she didn't even show her parents although her mom would love it on her, she knows her father will freak out if he sees her wear it.
She could always go change at Amy's. At least then she won't have to get into an argument with her dad. She loves him, but he should really loosen up a little. She's a grown woman now and she should be able to wear what she likes without having to argue about it with him. Too bad her mothers relaxed nature didn't rub off on him more.
Quicker than expected she puts her bike back in the garage and heads inside.
"I'm home! I'm just going to grab some things and then I'll go get ready at Amy's." She shouts before running up the stairs.
She decides to take both dress options so Amy can help her choose although she already has an idea on which one Amy will pick.
After a quick text to her friend to ask her if it's ok that she gets ready there, she packs up two pairs of pumps she is thinking about wearing and the throws in her make up bad.
Amy replies that she is more than welcome to come over and she will help her look even more gorgeous so she can drive all the guys at the party crazy.
Shaking her head laughing about her friend she goes back downstairs to say goodnight to her parents. Hopefully this time her father won't stay up because she has every intention of not coming home until early in the morning.
"I'm heading out. Amy is waiting for me. Dad please don't wait up, I won't be home until super late, or should I say super early tomorrow morning." Ayla smiles sweetly, hoping her father won't start a discussion, but her parents just look defeated and heart broken.
"Guys? What's going on? Did I say something wrong? I can come home earlier if you prefer, but I promise I won't do anything stupid. You know you can trust me." When they both don't react she gets scared. Her stomach suddenly feels like there's a ton of bricks in there and her throat seems to close, making is harder to breathe and swallow.
"You don't have to come home early sweetheart. Just have fun while you are there." Her mother tries to smile, but it doesn't reach her eyes.
Bianca reaches for her glass of water but as she picks it up it slips from her hand, falling to the floor and shattering in a million pieces.
