Hi everybody. I discovered I made a massive mistake in my time line. So I had to change a couple of things in previous chapters.
Ayla lived in Amsterdam for four years instead of 6 months and we are now in the 2022 season.

"Danny, do I have to come with you to the track?" Kendra whines pouting.
Daniel sighs, he knew his girlfriend wasn't exactly a fan of racing, but she did come with him so he thought she would be there in the paddock for his first race with McLaren.

"I can't decide that for you. I would appreciate you being there, but if you don't want to come I can't exactly force you." He answers as he puts his phone in his pocket.
He doesn't understand why Kendra would come with him if she wants to stay in the hotel the entire time.

"It's just so loud and smelly with the cars. I don't understand how all those other girlfriends can handle it." She says waving her hand in front of her nose.
"You can always stay in hospitality. You don't have to be in the garage." He suggests.

Kendra checks her hair and make up in the mirror as she thinks about whether to come or not.
"I guess I could make an appearance. My manager says the exposure could be positive for my brand."

Kendra is an influencer who has recently started her own make up brand. She would love to be just as successful as the Kardashians. Perhaps going to the race will help her with that.

Daniel nods a bit disappointed. He was hoping she would come for him, but now it seems she will come to benefit herself. At least he won't have to go alone. They have been spotted together by the media and for her to not show up in the paddock would raise plenty of questions.

He met Kendra at the beginning of the winter break at some party in Perth he attended.
He was not looking for anybody, he has dated on and off the last years, still often thinking about a certain blonde who seemed to have vanished of the face of the earth. But at the party there was Kendra, a beautiful woman, black long hair, blue eyes. He later found out she was actually a brunette and that she was wearing colored contacts. But she likes to change her appearance a lot so he is still not sure what her real hair color is.

He has also never seen her without make up. Of course they don't live together, but even when she stays over she won't take off her make up until he is sleeping and by the time he wakes up she has already put on a whole new face.

She is so different than Ayla. When he and Ayla had that amazing night together they showered together and Ayla took off her make up right there and then. She didn't wear much and without she was even more beautiful. At least that's what he thought.

She didn't care her hair was a mess, especially after their passionate love making.
She wasn't focused on her looks at all and that is really more the type of girl he would usually go for.
Kendra was just there at the right time, he knew he lost Ayla for a second time that night her father punched him and he never saw her again, nor did Seb or Christian hear from her. Then Kendra was there, flirting with him, making him feel wanted.

Blake also pushed him a bit. Saying Kendra was a public figure and the perfect girl to be by his side as the new season started with a new team.
Daniel knew he had to forget about Ayla, she had cut all ties with everybody that night and he had no idea where she went.

He asked Seb several times the first months, but Seb was never able to answer that question. Eventually Daniel gave up. Maybe that connection he felt between them was only from his side. He can only hope she is ok and happy wherever she is.

He looks at his girlfriend picking up her Gucci purse. Everything she has is from some expensive designer. For Christmas she wanted to have a Michael Kors bag and Louboutin shoes. She said that she can't be walking around with non designer stuff if she wants to be somebody in her business, so he did buy her the bag, but not the shoes, because he doesn't think shoes are a good Christmas gift.
