My life started again. Josh did the honor to pressed my button to start living again since I couldn't bring myself to unfreeze it. As I started getting my treatment, we're becoming closer and closer. The secret seems to pull us together.

We know each other deeper. His likes, dislikes, our favorites, each other's habits. We're becoming more familiar with that and these informations about us connect us deeply which help me to pull myself together.

"Since when you get interested in sports?" Carlo breaks me from thinking. He pulled me closer into his body and rest his head over my chest, cuddling on the bed in my apartment.

"Just recently." I smiled happily with the thought of it.

Josh's a very sporty man, it's not surprising given his athletic form. He would bring me with him to watch basketball and volleyball tournaments. I can even recite the rules and regulations of the game now. On some days, I would watched him play basketball in their court and even play with him. We would also play badminton. Good thing, I was permitted to do these sports as tolerated.

"It's very surprising. My girl finally decided to sweat, huh?" He yawned amusingly and chuckled after.

I remember how uninterested I am in sports before. Josh really influenced me big with his interest and I'm liking it, surprisingly.

"Not just that." I smirked. "Marunong na akong lumanggoy."

"Could you now?" He asked amused.

"Positive." I raised my brow proudly.

"Then we should kiss," He grinned, raising his head to search for my eyes. "to celebrate."

I chuckled not considering his offer. I was then busy telling him my little swimmy-lesson story when I was stopped by his light snores. I was too excited but seems like he's too sleepy to hear my stories.

I sighed.

This is him. He would went in my apartment to sleep and leave after. After some time, I think I'm becoming used to this set up. I'm handling it better, I guess. Not whining and demanding so much from him. We hang out when he's available and when he's not, then so be it. I decided to just accept what he could give.

"You cooked adobo?" Gulat nitong tanong.

I smiled. He knew I how much I hate adobo.

"Yeah. After some tries, I think I made it perfectly." I replied with satisfaction while assessing the dish.

"By the time we're ready, you'll be very wife-material." He chuckled and grab a fork after smelling it. "It looks delicious and the smell is mouth-watering."

He was about to taste it when I stopped him.

"Nah, It's not for you." Palo ko sa kamay nito at saka itinabi sa paper bag ang adobo.

"Hey, I just want a taste." He whinned like a child.

"No, it's not for you to taste. I cooked it for someone." I smiled.

"And who's that someone?" He pry, pouting.

"Just.. a friend." I shrugged. "I have to go."

I grabbed my things and gave him a light peck before leaving, gently squeezing the paperbag's string with a wide smile plastered my lips.

It's been a week since the last time Josh and I talked.. properly. Everything gone awkward for me after he gone drunk and started blabbing emotional and personal things towards me like being invasive and other shit that's running on his head. I confronted him after I build my courage and pointed out the clear spot on where we stand in each other life.
