After two days of fully understanding and absorbing her mates, Sabrina realized a few things. Finn had some unhealthy attachments to Esther, Elijah wore his suits as a hidden mask to his vampire qualities, Niklaus would leave any and every hybrid if it was to make Sabrina happy, and Kol liked to be as close to her as possible. Rebekah also had a habit of stealing her clothes. During those two days, they all seemed pretty involved except when Rebekah, Klaus, and Elijah would step out for hours on end, leaving Sabrina with Kol and Finn in a babysitter-like way, which she didn’t mind.
She cuddled with them on the couch, taught them how to cook modern-day foods, and even convinced Finn to cut his hair. Esther informed them that the letters for the Mikaelson Ball would be sent out that morning, with the ball taking place at seven. Sending out the letters the day before seemed too late in Sabrina’s opinion, and Caroline would definitely have something to say about that.
Getting up from her spot on the couch, she remembered the two boxes Klaus had given her that remained unopened. Passing the siblings' rooms, she went to Rebekah’s. Seeing them laid out on top of the dresser, she opened them. The first was a bracelet that resembled about fifteen infinity symbols linked together with a heavy weight. Looking closer, she gasped as about a hundred diamonds danced and sparkled on it. Clasping it on, she opened the next box. It contained a silver chain that shared a similar color to the bracelet, with a blue and purple butterfly at the bottom vertex of the chain. It was swirled together in a galaxy-like way. Clasping it on, she opened the note.
“My dearest little love, in hopes of earning your favor again, I've given you a few gifts only fit for a princess as they were worn by one. Sincerely, your love and mate, Nik.”
Smiling at the letter, she folded it back up and placed it on the dresser.
“I wondered when you'd wear it,” Klaus spoke from the room as she smiled, turning to him.
“It was very sweet. Thank you,” she said, throwing her arms around his neck and smiling as she kissed him.
“It was nothing,” he smirked as she patted his cheek. “Now, if you excuse me, love, I have some business to attend to,” he spoke, pulling away as she pouted.
“But you just got home,” she whined, as he smiled.
“I promise to make it up to you,” he winked as she blushed. Pulling her into a long kiss, he then moved to kiss her forehead before leaving.
Pouting, she walked back to sit with Kol and Finn.
