Sabrina’s ears perked up at the familiar sounds of her mates entering the mansion. Her heart clenched, knowing she had to face them with Sage in tow. Without a word, she untied Sage from the chains, roughly grabbing her by the hair and dragging her down the stairs. Each step felt heavy with the weight of her anger and betrayal.

When they reached the bottom, she threw Sage forward, her body tumbling down the last few steps. Sabrina's eyes met Finn’s, who stood at the foot of the stairs. His expression was a mix of shock and sorrow, but his attention wasn’t on Sage. Instead, his gaze lingered on Sabrina, noting the dark circles under her eyes, the determined set of her jaw, and the palpable shift in her aura.

"Sabrina," Finn murmured, his voice heavy with regret. "I... I didn’t want this for you."

Sabrina's eyes flashed with a mix of anger and pain. "Really, Finn? Because from where I’m standing, it sure looks like you didn’t care what happened to me."

Finn’s shoulders sagged, his eyes dropping to the floor. "I was trying to protect you. To keep you from becoming a part of this cursed existence."

"Protect me?" Sabrina scoffed, her voice rising with each word. "You disconnected the soulmate bond! You cut me off from you, from everyone! Do you have any idea what that did to me?"

Finn’s eyes finally met hers, filled with guilt and despair. "I thought it was the only way to keep you safe. I didn’t realize... I didn’t know it would come to this."

"Well, it did," Sabrina spat, her voice trembling with emotion. "And now I’m a vampire, thanks to your brilliant plan. How am I supposed to forgive you for that?"

Finn reached out a hand, but Sabrina recoiled, the distance between them feeling insurmountable. "I’m sorry, Sabrina. I truly am. But I never wanted this for you."

Sabrina took a deep breath, trying to steady her emotions. "Your apologies don’t change anything, Finn. You betrayed me, you betrayed us. And right now, I don’t know if I can ever forgive you for that."

The room was silent, the tension thick in the air. The other Mikaelsons watched, their expressions a mixture of sympathy and sadness. Rebekah’s eyes were filled with tears, while Klaus looked ready to tear something—or someone—apart. Kol stood off to the side, his usual playful demeanor replaced with a somber expression as he watched the scene unfold.

"Take your whore and leave," Sabrina said coldly, her voice cutting through the silence. "I don’t want to see either of you ever again."

Finn’s face fell, his eyes filled with pain as he looked at Sabrina. But he nodded, understanding that there was no room for argument. He turned to Sage, who was still on the floor, and helped her to her feet.

"Come on, Sage. Let’s go," Finn said quietly, guiding her out of the mansion. Sage glanced back at Sabrina, her eyes filled with a mix of fear and resentment.

As Finn and Sage left, Sabrina felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned to see Klaus, his eyes softening as he looked at her. "You did well, love. We’ll get through this."

Sabrina nodded, but her heart felt heavy. The rift between her and Finn wasn’t something that could be easily mended. And as she looked at her mates, she couldn’t shake the feeling of betrayal and loss that lingered in the air.

"Come on," Rebekah said softly, taking Sabrina’s hand. "Let’s go somewhere quiet. You need to rest."

Sabrina allowed herself to be led away, her mind swirling with thoughts and emotions. The road ahead was uncertain, and she wasn’t sure if things would ever be the same again. But for now, she had her family, and that was enough to keep her going.

That night, the four of them lay in Klaus's bed, Sabrina in the middle with Rebekah and Kol on either side, and Klaus lying protectively over her. Kol held her tightly to his chest, his breath steady against her hair.

In the darkness, Sabrina’s mind drifted back to the events of the past few days. She thought about the torture, the fear, and the moment she had to drink Elijah’s vial. She felt tears welling up in her eyes, but she forced herself to remain calm. She couldn’t break down now, not with her mates so close.

As she closed her eyes, she felt the weight of Klaus's arm drape over her protectively. Rebekah snuggled closer, her tears drying against Sabrina's skin. Despite the turmoil, there was a strange sense of peace in that moment, surrounded by the ones she loved.
