The morning sun filtered through the curtains of Klaus’s bedroom, casting a soft, warm glow over the sleeping trio. Sabrina stirred first, her eyes fluttering open to the sight of Klaus and Rebekah still peacefully asleep beside her. She lay there for a few moments, soaking in the tranquility of the moment before quietly slipping out of bed, careful not to disturb them.

She padded softly across the room, her gaze once again lingering on the many paintings Klaus had created of her. Each one seemed to capture a different facet of her personality, a testament to the depth of his love and admiration for her. With a heavy heart, she picked up her phone and made her way to the small writing desk in the corner of the room.

Sabrina sat down and took a deep breath, feeling a mixture of emotions wash over her. She missed Elijah terribly, and the absence of his steady presence weighed heavily on her. Deciding to pour her feelings into words, she picked up a pen and began to write.

**Dear Elijah,**

It feels like an eternity since you left, though it has only been a short while. Every day without you feels incomplete, like a part of me is missing. I wanted to write this letter to update you on everything that's been happening, and to remind you how much you are missed.

Yesterday was a mix of laughter and sadness. Klaus, Rebekah, and I spent the day together at home. We ordered Chinese food, and it was Rebekah’s first time trying it. You should have seen her struggling with the chopsticks! She was so determined to get it right, but ended up using them as a makeshift fork. Klaus and I couldn't stop laughing, and it felt good to have a moment of normalcy, even if it was fleeting.

Last night, we all slept in Klaus’s room. I couldn’t help but notice the paintings he’s done of me. They’re beautiful, Elijah. Each one captures something different, a memory, a feeling. It’s overwhelming to see how much he loves me, and I wish you were here to see them too.

I spoke to Kol last night. He’s doing well, though I can tell he misses us just as much as we miss him. We ended the call with our usual promise – “Always and forever.” It brought tears to my eyes, but it also gave me strength. Knowing that our bond is unbreakable, no matter the distance, keeps me going.

This morning, as I sit here writing to you, I feel a profound sense of loneliness. The house is quiet, with Klaus and Rebekah still asleep. I miss your presence, your wisdom, and the way you always know what to say to make everything better. There are so many things I want to tell you, so many moments I wish you were here to share with us.

The situation with the white oak tree has been tense. Rebekah and I had a meeting with Carol Lockwood about it, hoping to find more information. It feels like a never-ending battle, trying to protect our family from the constant threats that surround us. I know you would have had a plan, a way to handle everything with your usual grace and composure.

I'm trying to stay strong, for myself and for the family. But there are times when it feels like too much. I find myself reaching out for you, wishing you were here to hold me and tell me that everything will be alright. I miss your touch, your voice, and the comfort of knowing that you are there.

Rebekah and Klaus have been wonderful, and I am grateful for their love and support. But your absence is a void that nothing can fill. I keep reminding myself that this separation is temporary, that you will return to us. Until then, I will hold onto the memories we’ve shared and the love that binds us.

Please stay safe, Elijah. Come back to us as soon as you can. We need you, I need you. Our family isn’t complete without you, and I long for the day when we can all be together again. Until then, I will keep writing, keep hoping, and keep loving you with all my heart.

Always and forever,
Sabrina

Sabrina put down the pen, feeling the weight of her emotions pressing down on her. She carefully folded the letter and placed it in an envelope, writing Elijah’s name on the front. She hoped that when he returned, this letter would convey the depth of her feelings and the importance of his presence in their lives.

As she stood up, she glanced back at the bed where Klaus and Rebekah were still asleep. A sense of determination filled her. She would stay strong for them, for Kol, and for Elijah. Their love and their bond would see them through these difficult times.

The loss of Finn had left a gaping wound in her heart, a reminder of how fragile their existence could be, even as immortals. She had sworn to herself then that she would never lose the four that remained. She couldn't bear the thought of losing another soulmate, another family member. The pain of Finn's detachment  was still fresh, and the fear of more loss loomed over her like a dark cloud.

She placed the letter in a safe spot and quietly crawled back into bed, nestling herself between Klaus and Rebekah. Instinctively, they moved closer, their arms wrapping around her in their sleep. Sabrina felt a sense of peace wash over her, knowing that she was surrounded by love, even in Elijah and kol's absence.
