I saw Eira walking through the hallway, with her head down. I had heard some voices coming from a room, but I didn't care to ask about it. From what I had seen, she looked sad, and I know I wanted to cheer her up somehow.

-Hey, -I said, stopping her from walking forward. -Stay in your room and I'll tell you when to come out.

She lifted up her head, and the frown on her face turned to confusion not to be revealed. She just nodded and went inside her room.

I had the perfect plan for her to laugh and forget about what had occurred to her that day.

I went to my room as well, I got a larger sized bottle of life juice and I made my way towards Aria's room.

It wasn't my intention to drug her too badly, I only wanted to get out a couple of ridiculous words so Eira could be cheered up.

I don't remember what happened before Aria almost drank the whole bottle, but the important thing is that my plan worked. And it was better than I thought it would be.

Eira was already at the door, waiting to hear things she didn't think she needed to.

-So, -I started, thinking about a topic to bring up. -What happened when you and Darius were away?

I could barely finish asking the question, Aria burst out in drunk laughter, hitting me as she continued to wheeze.

-Darius fell in love with my best friend -she giggled to herself. -It was a massive crush, you should've seen the face he always made when she was talking to any other man. I really thought he was incapable of falling in love, but the way he fell, I'm surprised he got out.

I didn't plan for me to also laugh at the drunken secrets that were told, and it was an even bigger struggle to not laugh.

-Okay -I smiled. -Anything else?

-Just prepare for this -she wheezed. -We were all at a party once, and they disappeared into an alley and came back suspiciously close -Aria chuckled. Along with Eira. She must have been dying already, being full with the unknown information revealed of her father. That he could fall in love after all that's happened to him. It was like a miracle, an incredibly funny one.

I couldn't stop myself, I began to laugh as well, to which she leaned back in her seat, proud.

It really was a relief that Darius wasn't as cold as he was before, because he got himself many warm souls and hands to warm him up. Even if that girl may never show up in his life again, at least he would remember her forever. He would remember her as the girl who saved his soul from the trauma and distracted his brain with herself.

There are chances Aria lied, it isn't believable at all. But the future actually does make unbelievable things believable.

-Even he smelled like alcohol, and...And! When my mom caught him in my room...-she said, sipping another after. -He still wanted to jump out of the window, after my mom saw him.

Another loud laughter echoed through the hallway, and for a second, I thought I was the one laughing so hard, but I did everything but laugh.

The drunken way Aria explained it all added a touch of humor to the recent thing she said, but the meaning wasn't humorous at all.

-He had to stay in my closet for three days, okay? It was obvious he wanted to jump out of the window -she added when she saw my face.

Eira sounded completely entertained, so I went outside to her.

-I knew I'd make you laugh -I kneeled down to her level. -Goodnight. Dream of your father falling in love, and I'll be open to hear you laugh in your sleep -I whispered, letting her go to sleep.
