I have no idea how possibly everything seems like a fairytale so perfect it has been untold for centuries, and we are the first ones telling it, the first ones experiencing something similar to it.

The feeling is ethereal. Everyone is back, all the kills are in the past, that's the best part of it. That all the brutal murders and noble suffocations are all over, we don't have to fight for our freedom anymore, because the reason for the revolution is far away in Hell.

All the remaining people living in the Kingdom of Peace were escorted to live in different empires and kingdoms, they renamed the land "Kingdom of 'Peace'", now, no empires want to claim this land whatsoever, it's just left abandoned like a completely different planet.

All this happiness and stuff, but my tendency to be late for everything hasn't changed anywhere near as much as our surroundings did.

Our kingdom is left abandoned, so now, the only option, the best option we had left was the Kingdom of Nature. That is the only kingdom that looks at our group as some sort of unimaginably strong heroes, they let us live in their precious kingdom, in the place my group stayed in while I was gone.

Getting invited to the Kingdom of Nature meant also getting invited to a special ball, with free entries for all of us. All those chances we were getting, yet we were still late.

And if everyone would have to guess why, it would be nearly impossible to guess. The reason why I was late to the most important ball of my life was that I had to wait for the new Empire of Wealth's Empress to finally get ready. It's weird to say that I wasn't the one taking up all the time.

I heard the front door close up on us, everyone else already left, it was only me and Irene in the house, waiting to finally leave.

When the all-mighty Empress was finally ready, some sort of nostalgia hit me. I remembered the day I first saw her in such a ball gown perfectly, but this time the view fit even more into the untold fairytale.

Irene's gown was navy blue like the previous one, the shoulders went down her collarbone in a V-shape, the gown's skirt was longer than anything I saw my family members wearing, untold fairytale indeed.

I remembered that when I saw Irene like that for the first time, I couldn't possibly hate her more. And now, not only because of her dress, I loved her more than I did my hair, and I know very well that that's a huge expectation.

She had a terribly rare smile on her face, like she actually wanted to live that specific day, though she didn't see that...

-We're late and the ball starts in...-I started and checked my pocket watch. -10 minutes. How do you think we're going to get there with these clothes and such rain?

Yes. The weather was close to turning into a heavy storm, so for the first time, I didn't have time to admire Irene's outfit.

She took one last look on my worried face and broke out laughing like it was her last laugh ever.

Then, when I saw where we were, we were already running on the streets looking for a chariot to take us to the castle. We didn't make too much progress, Irene had to hold her incredibly long skirt while running and laughing at the same time.

When we finally found a chariot, we immediately jumped in it, told the driver the location, and there, we were on the way, twenty minutes late.

We were finally on the way, I could finally admire Irene and her gown for the first time that day.

She was still laughing and trying to calm herself down, but she wasn't laughing that hard to not realize that my full gaze was on her, and that simply laughing wouldn't make me stop.
