We sat down.

-Okay, Aria, we need to talk to you -Mom said. We all know it's bad when parents say that.

-About what?

-Well, we happened to realize that something was wrong. That you're hiding something from us. -Dad said.

-What is "we"? You aren't even with us!

-Alright, fine. Your mother told me.

-See? Previously you said I'm hiding something from you. If you were to know me you would know that I'm not hiding anything, just that you guys never seem to look at what's good for me! You both think I'm hiding something but in reality, you're just trying to cover up your own mistakes! Think about your daughter for once in a while! -I shouted.

Come on, we all know the "cover-up your mistakes" part was about me covering up this Darius incident by saying they don't pay attention to me.

-Aria, quiet down! Everyone is looking at us! -They said at the same time.

Then, what I heard was: ching ching! My phone was ringing. I immediately thought it was Darius, so I went to pick it up. I went to the toilet and I picked up the call.

-Hello? Who's this?

-Who's this? I should ask why in the living hell are you in the guys' bathroom?

-What? -I heard a slight sound from the phone.

Why, why, why did I have to go to the guys' toilet?

I ran to the girls' toilet this time and I said to the phone.

-Sorry. Who's this? -I asked but all I heard was laughing.

-Did you seriously go to the men's toilet? -Darius asked on the phone.

-Calm down, it was an accident.

-We know very well that it was the best accident ever.

-Shut up. Okay, back to seriousness. How are you?

-You might be surprised, but I'm amazing! I've never seen anything more modern than this place, and I still love it!-He said, I was surprised after all, I never would've thought a guy from 1567 would be amazing in a modern place but oh well.

-I'm glad to hear. I'm also so excited that you will come home tomorrow!

-For what? -he asked, confused.

-So that we can go to school again, and you could see your future girlfriend. -I said, I think he knew I was talking about Leia.

-Um, what? I know that she has a boyfriend.

-Ha! So you admit she exists!

-I don't appreciate you talking about her like you don't know who she is. I wrote it in your diary! -He said, it was hearable that he was mad.

-Okay, okay I don't want to stress you.

-You're not stressing me, I just got this awful feeling that something bad has happened in the past. Something about an execution or something.

-Then it may be Ella or something! I hope that's the case. -I responded, but I also had a feeling that something happened too.

-Well I'm sure it's fine. I have to go right now, my parents are calling me. Bye, cutie pie!

-Alright, bye, and never call me that again!

I went back to my parents, and the food was already there.

-Sorry. Ooo, this looks so good!

-So, will he come home tomorrow? -Mom asked.

-What? -I said as I started munching on my food.

-Don't act like you don't know! We heard you talking about someone coming home tomorrow, preferably in our home! Just stop lying!

Okay, fine. Do you remember that guy who I met in 1567?

-Yes.

-Okay, well in the past, he was in danger, so we thought it was best to bring him home to our house to stay.

-Since when? Since when was a stranger in our home? -Mom asked me.

-Since May 19th. -I said the quietest way possible.

-What?-Dad asked –Is that the person I gave the vodka to?

-No, it's not.

-Thank the Lord! It wasn't an alcoholic! -Mom said, knowing very well she also drinks sometimes.

-Don't act so innocent! You're also drinking sometimes!

-It's still better than someone who drinks every single day!

-Okay, well if you have got even a little kindness in your hearts, then you'd let him stay 'cause he's in the hospital and he gets out tomorrow.

-Why is he in the hospital?

-He had a panic attack in school.

-Alright, fine, he can stay. But for how long are you planning to keep him here?

-We, I mean I will go back in the past to see if it's safe for him to go back. If not, he'll stay here.

-Why would it be unsafe for him to return to his own home? -Dad asked, eating his steak.

-Because some girl made a rumor about him cheating on her and abusing a woman, but in reality, she cheated on him, and that woman raped him, and you know, in 1567, cheating and abusing is illegal.

-Oh. I didn't know. In that case, I truly don't care how long he stays, but don't let him make any trouble. -Dad said, even though he doesn't live in our house.

-Trouble? He's scared to even say anything to someone he doesn't know.

So, there you have it, turns out we won't be homeless. To be honest, I'm surprised at how they both supported the idea, and luckily they didn't ask how we paid the hospital bill. This was a rough day, luckily I did all my homework.

June 2nd, 10 am

Well, this is about to be pretty interesting. This started weird again, let's do it one more time.

Yay! I'm so happy Darius got home today, but I forgot to tell him he could go inside the front door, so he sneaked into my room in his karate kid style.

-Hey! You made it! I'm so sorry I couldn't come pick you up, parent problems.

-It's fine -Darius said.

I went to hug him when Mom came in. You should've seen the way Darius looked at her for a second and went to jump out the window.

-Oh my gosh, wait. She knows about you now. She caught us talking yesterday -I said, bursting out in laughter after. -You wanted to jump out of the window!

-Oh, okay. Nice to meet you. I'm Darius Giles -he introduced himself and went to shake her hand.

-Aria, is the only polite person you have met in a while. Celine Clark. Nice to meet you, honey. So, what did you go to the hospital for?

-A severe panic attack -He responded.

Oh shit. Mom's probably going to ask me about the hospital bill now.

-Aria, can I talk to you for a moment? -Mom asked, with raised eyebrows.

-Yeah, sure. -I said as we left my room.

-So, if it was a severe panic attack, who paid the bill? And how much was it?

-Well, it was kind of, sort of like 10 thousand dollars...

-What? And who paid for it?

-I did. Whit your money...-I said in the quietest tone possible.

-I'm sorry, did I hear that right?

I know I said the bill was 2 thousand but the food and medicine were another 8 and I forgot to write that. Anyway, Mom sort of stayed in bed the whole day, she got so sick from that answer, and she isn't even talking to me. How nice.
