Days went by after that.

Sa hospital naman, Dylan and Florence were good together. Florence was happier than ever while Dylan was giving more effort to Florence.

Florence was the same, ranting she almost died because another patient threw a table this time and it hit her back so hard.

"Kaya pa ba?" I asked her while hugging.

"Kakayanin... pinili ko to eh. Sabihin na naman ng iba dyan papasok sa kursong pinilit hindi naman pala kaya." she said while sobbing.

"Hey, don't mind them, okay? You're good enough. I said and she shook her head. "See, you are better than you think. You are more than what you think. Laban lang ha. Makakatapos din tayo." i told her and smiled.

"Romero! Garcia! Back to duty!" sigaw ng isang doctor kaya bumalik na kami ni Florence sa duty.

It's already 12 in the midnight and I'm still waiting for Nathan's message. I saw him online and just seen my messages. He didn't text back asking if I already ate dinner or how's my duty. Nakakapanibago lang kasi hindi naman siya ganito. Something was wrong, something was up that I didn't know.

"Too occupied, Ms. President?" someone suddenly spoke at my side.

I just nodded. "Here, coffee will make everything better." Dylan handed me a cup of coffee and I accepted it.

I sighed deeply before taking a sip but I continued staring blankly at the white wall of the hospital, thinking deeply what I had done wrong this time.

I joked.

He scoffed. "Seryoso ako kay Florence. Plus, bakit ko naman siya gagawing libangan? It looked like I didn't mature if I still did that to her."

"Naninigurado lang. My friend had been through enough. I chuckled.

He smiled. "Kailangan."

He nodded, taking all of my advices with Florence. Girl code is nothing, especially Florence knew nothing about mine and Dylan's past. She was another wounded innocent soul in this cruel world.

"Sa inyo? Nag-aayos na kayo ng kasal, right?" I nodded. "Then why is your face like that? Para kang pinagbagsakan ng langit at lupa. Something happened?" Dylan asked.

I looked at him for a second and avoided his gaze by looking at my ring. "I don't know... you think we should talk?" tanong ko.

He cleared his throat. "You should, you've been so far already," he said. "Sayang pagtigil ko kung hindi din naman pala kayo magkakatuluyan." he said bitterly.
