"That is not what happened." Jessica groans.

"Well, you won't tell me what actually happened." Elle says.

"I told you -- top secret." Jessica says.

"Oh, come on. I'm not Morgan, I won't tease you relentlessly." Elle says.

"Reid and I agreed to keep quiet." Jessica says.

"Why? You guys have sex?" Elle smirks.

"No!" Jessica quickly denies making Elle laugh. "We didn't have sex. We didn't even kiss or-- or hold hands. We just... we want to keep it to ourselves. Our own private little night."

"Aw, you two are adorable." Elle teases.

"Shut up." Jessica shoves her making Elle laugh.

Jessica, Derek, and Elle are all at their desks. Jessica looks up when the door near them opens and Gideon walks in.

"Reid failed his qualification." Elle informs.

"He can re-test in two weeks." Gideon says.

"Yeah, but he's gonna be embarrassed about it. So let's not mention it." Elle says, both her and Jessica giving pointed looks to Derek.

"Yeah, let's not, huh?" Gideon agrees before walking off.

"Not a word." Derek says, holding a hand up in surrender.

"Morgan." Jessica gives him a stern look.

"I won't say anything." He insists.

Spencer walks over and goes straight to his desk, sitting down. Derek gets up and walks over to Spencer's desk. Jessica glances at Elle, the two sharing a look.

"Hey." Derek greets. "We're all here for you." Spencer ignores him, rifling through his stuff. "I'm serious." Spencer looks back up at him. "If you ever need anything..." Derek puts a whistle around Spencer's neck. Jessica rolls her eyes.

Derek blows on the whistle.

"Just blow on that." He laughs, walking back to his desk.

"You're a jerk." Jessica says, tossing a pen at the man.

"Ow." Derek frowns, rubbing his arm. "Jeez."

Spencer takes the whistle off, throwing it onto his desk.

"Hey, Franklin Park, Des Plaines. Yesterday afternoon. Three victims shot at distance." JJ informs, handing out the files. "It's the third such shooting in two weeks."

"A sniper?" Elle asks.

"We don't use that word." Derek says.

"Why not?" Elle asks.

"The public perception is that the FBI doesn't have an exemplary record with snipers." JJ says.

"Besides, a sniper is a professional marksman. These guys aren't snipers." Hotch says.

"What do we call 'em them, then?" Elle asks.

"L.D.S.K." Hotch answers.

"Long distance serial killers." Spencer states.

"How many of these guys have we caught using a profile?" Elle asks.

"None." Gideon states.

"Two weeks, three shooting incidents, six victims, all shot in the abdomen. First and only fatality, Henry Sachs, married, father of three, shot in a shopping center parking lot." Hotch says, clicking a button on the remote. A picture of Henry and his family and another picture of where he died popping up.
