Isla's pov

The morning sun peeked through the curtains as Leah, and I stirred awake. I felt refreshed after a good night's sleep, a stark contrast to the chaos of the previous evening. I turned to see Leah's face illuminated by the soft morning light. She smiled at me, her eyes still heavy with sleep but full of warmth.

Leah: "Good morning," she murmured, her voice husky from sleep.

Isla: "Good morning," I replied, leaning in to give her a gentle kiss. Our lips met softly, a sweet reminder of the bond we shared. For a moment, the world outside didn't exist, and it was just us, wrapped in the comfort of each other's presence.

Reluctantly, we untangled ourselves from the bed and quietly moved around the apartment, making sure not to wake Katie, who was still sprawled out on her bed in a rather comical position.

In the kitchen, Leah started brewing coffee while I began preparing a simple breakfast. As I chopped fruit, Leah came up behind me, wrapping her arms around my waist and resting her chin on my shoulder.

Leah: "You know, I could get used to mornings like this," she said, planting a soft kiss on my neck.

I smiled, feeling a rush of warmth.

Isla: "Me too," I replied, turning my head to kiss her on the cheek. We exchanged knowing smiles, anticipating the moment Katie would wake up.

Sure enough, a few minutes later, we heard groaning and the shuffle of feet as Katie stumbled into the kitchen, her eyes squinting against the light. She looked at us with a mix of embarrassment and gratitude.

Leah: "Good morning, sunshine," Leah teased, handing Katie a glass of water and some painkillers.

Katie accepted the offering with a sheepish grin.

Katie: "Thanks," she mumbled, taking a seat at the table.

Katie: "I can't believe I drank that much."

I placed a plate of toast in front of her.

Isla: "Eat up. It'll help."

As Katie slowly nibbled on the toast, our group chat buzzed with activity. Kim had sent a funny meme about hangovers, which earned a few laughs. Viv shared a photo of the messy aftermath at Alessia's place, and we all reminisced about the previous night's antics.

Isla: "Looks like everyone had a good time," I said, scrolling through the messages.

Katie groaned, resting her head on the table.

Katie: "What did I do last night? I can't remember anything after we started playing those games."

Leah and I exchanged a glance, both of us hiding smiles.

Leah: "You were pretty hilarious," Leah said, "but there is one thing you might want to know."

Katie lifted her head, her face flushed with curiosity and a hint of dread.

Katie:  "What did I do?"

I took a deep breath, trying to suppress my grin.

Isla:  "You told us about Caitlin."

Katie's eyes widened in horror.

Katie: "I did what?!"

Leah chuckled.

Leah: "You let it slip that you and Caitlin are dating and that you like each other."

Katie buried her face in her hands, groaning.
