Chapter 10

Police captain opened the door "Captain Chantal Dubois. Get up. I'm going to have to send you back to Monaco under maximum security." They saw that she wasn't getting up then they revealed that she was gone. "What?!" "It's just a pillow!" "That's the oldest trick in the book, Comandante. Every bambino in Italy knows that one." "Maybe, but do they know about the old escape hole behind the innocent-looking poster?" He tore off the poster to show a mirror covered in lipstick that said 'stupido' "Or the really old "I'm gonna hide up on the ceiling" trick!" He shot at the roof but all he got was the cement when it hit him. The two got his attention then they showed him the tunnel "Of course. The secret tunnel under the bed! Get this thing out of the way." They moved the bed "Let's go!" They jumped in, as Dubois got out of her bedding "This secret tunnel is a dead end! There's nothing but bedsprings and mattress stuffing down here!" Dubois walked out then closed the door "Was that the sound of a cell door closing?" Dubois walked down the hallway then sat down at the computer then looked up about a missing lion and tabby cat. Then she found what she was looking for.
Dubois said "Voila!" Then she hit the print button then the article printed, then she took it
"Was that the sound of my HP printer printing?" It showed the screen as it showed the train.

Alex groaned "This is a disaster!"
Garfield said "Thought it would be better."
Gloria said "We blow all our money on a bad circus, and we're not any closer to New York!"
Melman said "If anything, we're further away!"
Marty said "We could have at least bought a circus that knew how to circ!"
Skipper opened the box "I don't even know why we bought a circus in the first place. We had enough dough for a plane!"
Melman asked "Are you kidding me?"
Gloria said "You must have some money left over."
Skipper said "I used it to buy teeth and then have them capped in gold. Now I can eat apples!" He put them in then said "Sadly, I discovered I... I don't like apples."
Marty said "No promoter is sending this show to America. It's toe up!"

Garfield and Alex were pacing still then saw Stefano.

Gloria said "Now it all makes sense. No wonder the circus master was so happy to sell."

Alex screamed "Aah!" Garfield screamed "Woah!"

Stefano shushed them then saw that no one else was looking then he asked them to follow him. They opened the door then they were blown out of the train car due to the wind and the speed.

Marty said "He was happy, all right. Happy about ripping us off!"
Alex and Garfield screamed "Aa-"
The three saw that the two cats were gone. Gloria asked Where did Alex and Garfield go?"

Marty replied "I don't know."
