Garfield in Madagascar trilogy

Chapter 12

It showed the circus crew upset, as Vitaly threw knives at the two.

Vitaly said "I missed."
Gia asked "Who do you think you are?!"
King Julien said "Off with your head!"
Gangle asked "What?"
Pomni asked "Why?"
Freddie asked "Are you kidding?"
Jonesy said "I'm gonna chew his leg off!"
Zooble said "Not cool man!"

Vitaly said "Circus has been same for generations! We make good, classic family entertainment."
Stefano said "Aha! But last few generations, families... not so entertained." The other circus animals and Julien look awkwardly shocked at him "Mmm.."

Garfield said "That's right. Families not so entertained because you're just going through the motions out there. It's missing passion."
Vitaly asked "How one to have passion for stool poked in face?"

Vic said "Exactly! And by stool you mean chair, right?" Alex said "The fact is, you guys, you got stuck in a rut. You stopped pushing, you stopped taking risks. But those days are over. Because now we're going to completely change the show."

Freddie asked "Then it wouldn't be a circus, would it?"
Jonesy replied "Yeah."
Garfield said "Circus is not about the acts you do." He pointed to his heart "Circus is in here."

Freddie looked in his dress as
Jonesy did the same and he asked "How comes Freddie gets all the circus?" Freddie punches him, startling the other dogs "Ugh!"

Alex said "Circus is about following your passions, wherever they take you!"
Vitaly said "Pftt. You cannot change circus. There is long tradition!"
Alex said "That's what everybody thought, Vitaly, until those French Canadians came along, drunk off their maple syrup and cheap pharmaceuticals, and completely flipped the paradigm."

Marty said "Now they play Vegas. Fifty shows a day in 52 separate venues. And one of them completely in the nude."
Garfield said "Yeah, that's right. And you know how they did it?"
Kinger asked "Take off their clothes?"
Garfield said "No. They got rid of the animals."
Stefano asked "What?"

Marty said as he held Kinger and Zooble "Say it ain't so!"
Stefano said "Che stupida! No animals... How could they?!"

Alex said "Well, you know what I say to that! I say they can take the animals out of the circus, but they cannot take the animals out of the circus! I mean, they cannot... I think you understand what I'm saying!"

Circus crew said "Yeah!"
Marty said "Yes!"
King Julien said "No!"
Jax said "Yeah."
Ragatha said "Right!"

Alex said "We don't need humans because we've got passion. What does a human say when he's passionate? He says, "I'm an animal!" Well, we are animals!"
Circus Animals cheered "Yeah!"

Garfield said as they jumped onto a stand "We'll make an all-animal circus! Because if we follow our passion, we can go anywhere.
Marty said "Anywhere!"
Alex said "We can do anything!"
Marty said "Anything!"
Alex said "If we do it together!"
Marty said "All of us!"
Circus crew cheered "Yeah... Yeah, yeah!"
Garfield said "Our circus!"
Horses said "Yeah! Yeah!"
Freddie said "We're in! We'll have some of that!"

Gangle said "I'm up for it!"
Jax said "I'm in!"

Marty asked "Can I hear you say "fur power"?"
Pomni said "Fur power!"
Circus crew chanted "Fur power! Fur power! Fur power! Fur power! Fur power!"
Alex said "Take our circus back, and we'll do it together! That's right!"
Gloria said "You and me, baby! What?! An act together!"
Melman cheered "I love it!"
Gloria said "We can do that funk and groove dance thing!"
Melman asked "Dance?"
Gloria said "This thing right here. Look." She did a small dance then cheered "Me and you! We got this!" She ran off
Melman said "But I- I- I- I- I can't dance."
Stefano chanted "Fur power! Chanting is fun! Chanting is fun!"
Gia chanted "Fur power! Fur power! Fur power! Fur power!"
Vitaly said "I do not trust this lion or this cat."
Gia said "Vitaly, I may not trust them, either, but I am tired of sitting and standing and rolling over."
Vitaly said "It is great tradition of sitting, standing, rolling over."
Gia said "You know our circus is in trouble. This could be our last chance. But we will not do this without you."
Stefano said "Circus always stay together."
Vitaly said "OK. I do one hoop."
Stefano said "I want a hug, too!" They hugged as they laughed.
