Chapter 17

Finally arriving New York, Alex and his gang left the circus. Vitaly was waiting for the circus to begin.
Vitaly said "Come, everybody. We have show to do."
Stefano asked "But how do we go on without Marty?"
Vitaly said "Stefano."
Stefano said "I don't know what to do."
Vitaly said "You can still do cannon solo."
Stefano began crying "But... I want to do solo act with Marty!"
Jax said "Yeah, neither do I."
Gia said "And what do I do? Go back to sitting and standing and rolling over?"
Vitaly said "No. We can do impossible! And we never go back to way we used to be."

Stefano said "The way it used to be isn't the way it was. And it won't be the same without them, whatever way it is."

With the gang they saw their home.
Gloria said "Well... we're here."
Marty said "Home."
Alex said "Huh. My rock looks smaller than I remember it."
Marty said "Look at the mural. Doesn't actually capture the real thing, does it?"
Gloria said "Wow. I forgot about that wall in between us, Melman."
Melman agreed "Mm-hmm."
Gloria asked "Was that always there?"
Marty remembered about his escape to the Grand Central Station from the first movie "Guys, I'm sorry I ever left the zoo in the first place."
Alex asked "What do you mean?"
Marty replied "I mean, if I had just stayed put, we wouldn't have anything to be sad about right now."
Alex said "Leaving the zoo was the best thing that ever happened to us."
Marty asked "Really?"
Alex replied "Yeah. Out there, in the world, we were really living."
King Julien agreed "Yeah!"
Alex said "It was exciting!"
Gloria said "It was romantic."
Melman said "It was dangerous."
Marty said "I never felt so alive!"

Garfield said "When we were with the circus, we were already home. I only wish we'd realized that sooner."
Melman said "I'm really going to miss those guys."
Alex asked "What do you say we go back?"
Gloria asked "Really?"
Marty said "I'm with you!"
King Julien said "I'm in!"
Melman asked "But what do we tell them?"

Garfield said "Well, we make it right by telling them how wrong we were."
Marty said "It's worth a shot."

Garfield said in a Russian Accent of what Vitaly said "And if we go down in flames, so be it!" He got shot with a tranq far in the head. As well as the others
Gloria sId "Yes, let's do this!"
King Julien said "I like it!"
Marty said "Yeah, yeah!"
Melman asked all woozy "Is my neck getting longer?"
Alex said woozy "Feel my fur. It's so soft."
Gloria said woozy "It is soft."
Marty said woozy "I'm like a candy cane in a black and white movie." They fell back
Alex said "Oh, no. Dubois."
King Julien said woozy "Sonya, I miss you, baby! I miss my stinky bear! Babe... your fishy kisses!" The officers popped out as Dubois jumped down from her hang glider.
Dubois said "Surprise! He will never fit in the carry-on. But they're heads will!" She laughed evilly.
Zookeeper #1 said "Hey!"
Dubois asked "Qu'est-ce que c'est?" Then she hid the saw behind her back.
Zookeeper #1 said "Look! Look what she's done! You brought back Alex the lion!"
Zookeeper #2 said "lt's a miracle!"
Zookeeper #3 said "You brought him home! You're our hero!"
Zookeeper #1 said "Thank you! Thank you!"
