Chapter 15

Stefano asked "Are you sure we are ready?"

Garfield replied "Of course we're ready! Born ready! Ready steady! Come on, let's go! Let's go, go, go, go, go!"

Skipper said "All right, you heard the cat. Move it! Come on! All aboard! Grab your luggage and drain your bladders. lt's going to be a long ride!"

Everyone cheered as they were getting on the train

Alex said "All right, everybody, let's blow that promoter away!"

Melman cheered "London, here we come!"
Marty cheered "Sunshiny London, yes!"
Vic cheered "Whoo-hoo!"

Vitaly got on his car on the train. When he opened his cabinet of old hoops he heard the crowds cheering his name, he got scared then he closed the doors panting.

In London, the tent was set up. The penguins were looking for someone.

Skipper said "Ah, come on, come on, come on. Where is he?" He saw the promoter "Bingo! If that's not a red-blooded American promoter, I don't know what is. We need to get this show on the road. Private! Tell them the eagle has landed."
Private said "The eagle has landed!"
Alex said "Roger that. Oh! And keep an eye out for Dubois."
Private said "Aye, aye, guvnor!"

Alex said "The promoter is in the house!" Marty said "New York is closer than ever!" Garfield said "Let's not get ahead of ourselves. First, we got a circus to do."
Gloria said "Got it."

Alex said "We're on, folks!" He dodged Pomni who was spinning.

Ragatha asked "Do we go on before or after the dogs?"
Alex replied "Yes."

They asked "What?"
Alex replied "Overlap, your acts overlap."
Gangle asked "We go in between?"

Garfield said "Where's Vitaly? He opens."
Horse asked "l don't know."

Garfield said "Stefano! Hey, Stefano! Have you seen Vitaly?" He saw that Stefano was crying "Hey. Stefano, why the sad little face?"
Stefano said "Vitaly... he will not go on!"

Garfield asked "What?"
Stefano said "I tried everything I could." He whimpered.

Garfield said "Shhhhh.. Wipe away the tears. Calm down. Where is he? I'm sure I can reason with him." He threw a knife near Vitaly's head as he was packing. Garfield asked "Vitaly, what are you doing?"

Vitaly said "You missed."

Garfield asked "You're leaving? You're just gonna walk out on everybody?"
Vitaly said "They have good show without me."
Garfield said "Look, I got a good left foot, but without my right foot, I can't walk."
Vitaly said "You get fake foot, then you walk."

Garfield said "I don't want fake foot! OK?"
Vitaly groaned "Ugh."

Garfield said "What happened to "circus stick together"? "The show must go on.""
Vitaly said "Clichés."

Garifeld as they fought over the items Vitaly was packing said "Come on, man. Stop being this guy! Be the other guy!"
Vitaly asked "What other guy?"

Garfield said "The guy who was all circus! The guy who jumped through hoops! Give me that! The guy everybody looked up to. Come on. Where's that Vitaly?"
Vitaly said "That Vitaly is no more."

Garfield said "Listen, man. You may have given up on yourself, but your friends haven't given up on you." He held up the picture of his friends "Are you just going to turn your back on them, and sit and eat borscht the rest of your life? Or are you gonna get out there and jump through that tiny little hoop?"

Vitaly said "It is impossible."

Garfield said "It was always impossible, Vitaly. That's why the people loved it."

Vitaly said "That is why I loved it. Because I did the impossible! I was once a brave tiger. And if I go down in flames... Heh-heh-heh! So be it!"

Garfield said "You know, I think I might have an idea for you."

So back at the stage, Caine announced "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I bring to you the one the only, Vitally!"

After a big failure of using olive oil being extra flammable from the tragic past, Vitaly is preparing to use hair conditioner to find out that it will be fireproof to avoid his same fate. As everyone watched in anticipation.

Vitaly said "Light the hoop on fire!"
Stefano lit the hoop. Vitaly looked at it with fear then he got ready. Then he ran at it as the audience gasped.
Stefano began praying as Caine chewed his nails in fear "Mamma mia, Santa Maria, Santa Maria... Mamma Maria, mia Santa, Santa Mia Farrow..."

Garfield said "Come on, you got it." They saw that he went through.
The crowd began cheering "Yeah!"

Vitaly saw that he was okay.
Stefano cheered "Yes!" Caine clapped. Vitaly gave a bow and showed happiness.

Alex said as everyone got ready "All right, what are you waiting for?! We got a show to put on! Let's go! Go, go, go, go, go!"

Vitaly started the show by raising the seats and making a ramp. Making the audience excited. "Look!" It showed Sonya and king Julien on the bike riding on a wall.

Orson showed waved to the audience then activated the rocket shoes as the others followed. As Sonya and Julien flew. Garfield and Pomni then did their trapeze act.

The hoops became a part of the keyboard then Kinger played it as they became cannons as Jax, Marty and Stefano were launched.

Marty and Gloria were shown dancing on the trapeze. The elephants did their part. As the horses with gangle, Ragatha and Zooble were riding them.

The producer showed the contract and phill signed it. They had a banana cigarette as the Eagles blew up.
