•Bills POV•
I forcefully controlled the steering wheel whilst keeping my eyes on the road. I quickly glanced behind me and saw Erika standing in the middle of the street, her eyes gloomy as the moonlight reflected onto them.
I felt a bit guilty for leaving her behind but she would only cause our plan to slow down.
We had to do it quick. Tom was determined to murder Chiyo.
His eyes were filled with rage as soon as he realized what that man had done to Laure.
I was ready to laugh at him for reacting so protective but I forced myself to keep my mouth shut this once. He would only get more mad if I dared to say anything.
I simply followed behind his car with my sleek gun chucked in my pocket. Chiyo wasn't prepared for us at all which gave us the perfect opportunity to murder him. Without hesitation we pulled up a few streets infront of his house.
" get out!"
Tom yelled at me as he angrily stomped out of his car. I quickly pushed the car door open and hurried out of my hellcat, leaving my scent of musk behind as I exited.
" oh come on Bill."
He snarled.
Tom was pacing towards the mansion, his bold gun strongly held by his right hand and a cigarette in his left.
" god wait a second."
I murmured whilst trying to catch up with my brother.
Together we made our ways to the house which looked pretty empty. All the lights were turned off and there was no sound coming from inside. We started to wonder if this was the right place.
" where the fuck are they?"
Tom hissed as he noticed the empty mansion.
" I don't know."
With fierce eyes Tom walked over to the large frontdoor and attempted to glare inside.
" they're not home."
He sighed.
He quickly extinguished his cigarette in one of the bushes that were placed at the side of the door.
" wait.."
he suddenly mumbled.
My heart dropped.
" if they're not here.."
" shit."
I hissed.
We immediately ran back to our cars and our minds were flushed with denial.
How could we be so naive?
Chiyo must've known we would come after him as soon as Laure left his side. Ofcourse he wasn't home! He was at our home. Full of adrenaline I started my car and quickly drove off, Tom right behind me.
" fuck."
I snarled whilst speeding down the highway back to our house. My thight grip on the wheel caused my knuckles to turn white.
I could feel my heart pound trough my chest as fear overtook my brain.
What if something happened to Erika?
I left her alone in the middle of the street, at night.
I tried ignoring the stinging guilt that rushed trough my mind but it was too strong. I hated how easily Erika's safety could affect me. Somewhere I missed how emotionless I used to be.
