I opened my eyes, allowing the shining sun to enter them. I groaned as I sat up straight, scanning the room. Bill was sleeping next to me, his dreads all over the place.

He looked so harmless. I stared at his beautiful shaped face and admired all his feautures. I hated the fact that I actually started to feel something for this monster.

I knew that he was just manipulating me into loving him so that he could eventually use everything against me. I thought it was a normal morning until I remembered what had happened last night in Chiyo's basement. Dia's lifeless body flickered infront of my eyes and I got flashbacks. The way she just collapsed onto the floor, her stomach bleeding. I couldn't stand the way Tom treated her.

He acted as if she wasn't a human being, just a pet.

I felt burning tears welling up in my eyes at the thought of Dia not being around anymore. A tear fell onto the soft duvet as my thinking grew louder and harsher. I started thinking about all the good moments we had together and how kind she was to me at the beginning.

I must've woken Bill up since he grunted before stretching out his arms above his head.

Dark circles were hanging under his softend eyes and he looked tired.

" I see you're awake."

He scoffed with a simple look at me.

I instantly turned away from his gaze and felt his eyes piercing into my back.

" get up."

He then ordered before hopping out of bed.

He quickly adjusted his dreads after he had taken a hoodie out of the closet. I could hear laughter coming from downstairs. It was all just a normal morning for everyone. Everyone acted as if nothing had happened and I started to grow paranoid. Bill shot me a dirty look as he ripped the door open, trying to tell me to get up.

I rolled my exhausted eyes before forcing myself up from the comfortable bed.

I sighed as I loosened my ponytail. We walked down the many stairs and the familiar laughter grew louder as we neared the kitchen. Bill pushed the door open, his eyes immediately flying towards Tom who was sipping from a cup.

" hello."

He smirked at Bill who looked a bit annoyed.

We entered the full room and everyone's eyes were focused on us. Laure was sitting on the edge of the couch, her gaze lowered and her eyes seeming glossy. I knew that guilt was still hovering over her, whispering filthy things into her ear making her believe that she truly was a bad person.

Bill made his way to the counter before grabbing a cup. I decided to check up on Laure who was looking dazed. I sat down next to her, patting her thigh as I glanced up at her from under my lashes. She tried smiling but the guilt took that ability from her.

" don't worry Laurie, it's not your fault."

I quietly whispered at her, attempting to comfort my best friend.

" I just didn't expect him to actually kill one of us."

Laure started, her voice slightly cracking with sorrow as she tried explaining her feelings.

I rubbed her back as she opened the vents.

" I also didn't expect Tom to actually choose me."

Her words stung in my heart.

I knew that she felt worthless and she always thought that no one would ever choose her so this was probably a shock for her.

My poor girl.
