Destiny: Time To Fall In Love

Chapter 5 - Confession

It was around 6 am in the morning I woke up, and it was the second day of our field trip as I saw my right side, Richa was still sleeping like a dead person. "Oh my god this girl, sometimes I really wonder if she's a human or not".

"Richa wake up, are you here to enjoy nature or just to sleep whole day, look how beautiful is the scenery here, let's go on a jogging, wake up Richu" Aashi said while tapping on her shoulder

"I'm here to sleep, if you want to go so bad for joging, take Mr. Aryan with you" she said while covering herself with duvet and half asleep more like she mumbled. "Offo... I can't ask him here, Are you coming or not?" she asked sternly"

"NO" Richa said and completely covered herself this time. "Okay then I'm going alone" Aashi said and left from there.

I walked alone out of our campsite and enjoyed nature, took some pictures and lost track of time. OMG it's already 9:00 am, I was out for too long I should head back now I thought and went back but saw a group of people standing there and the first thing I noticed three faces with different expressions. First Pathak sir who was worried and then Richa who was scared and then lastly Aryan who was angry, but why, as I walked them they noticed me.

"Where were you Aashi?" Aryan's voice stern, leaving absolute no room for any kind of excuse, his aura was cold which my me gulp down. "I went for jogging" I answered, not knowing about the tensed atmoshphare.

"Don't you think you should have informed one of us ,either me or Mr. Pathak, about your leaving alone, it's a fucking jungle Aashi, there could be wild animals or bandits, thief, anything can happen to you, do you realize that?" he was angry but it sounded like more concentered, the words coming out of his mouth was sounding rude but in his eyes, there was terror, terror of being her hurt.   

"I told Richa" Aashi said while looking down, playing with her finger with nervousness. "I'm sorry I was half asleep and didn't notice what she said" Richa also apologized while looking down. 

Aryan was about to say something but Mr. Pathak interrupted him. "Let it go now Aryan. Aashi is a good kid, I know she intentionally won't cause trouble for us and she's here now what's more we want right? Come on everyone let's get back to work" Mr. Pathak said while caressing my hair.

Aryan didn't said a word and left from there in anger and I  knew that I was doomed so I sneaked out and went towards him. "Are you mad at me?" but Aryan ignored me like I wasn't there so I again asked "Are you really angry"

"No I'm not" he said without looking at me he's definitely, I thought. "I'm sorry sir, I didn't mean to trouble you" I said while holding my both ears with my most apologetic face. "Aashi I'm not angry with you, I was worried about you, you have to understand that here you're my responsibility, all of my students are" he said finally looking at me.

"I'm sorry Aaru...." my head was low. "It's ok, go now and do your task" Aryan said while removing her hands from her ears. "Aye aye captain" she said and left from there while humming a song. "Drama queen" Aryan said and chuckled

After some time Pathak sir came and announced. "Hey everyone I have two news for you one is bad one is good, which one you want to hear first" 

"Tell us the bad one first, sir" one of the student spoke. "So the bad news is that our field trip which was suppose to be a three days trip is now two days trip due to upcoming exams and we will be leaving tomorrow morning" 

"What, O no this can't be happening, seriously" these are words I was hearing from everyone mouth, there smile dropped as soon as Pathak sir made announcement. 

"And what's the good news, sir" again one of the student asked. "So the good news is that there's a resort near by and we will be spending our rest of the time there while partying" he said while winking at us all  and now the faces which was disappointed a while ago now was jumping in excitement.

"Yahhh", "hurray" all the students were happy so was I. Soon we all reached over there and before we realize it was evening already. Students were preparing for party and everything went perfect.

Now we were all partying, enjoying, dancing of course I danced a lot, while I was dancing I looked at Aryan while dancing and gestured to him to join us, but he shook his head and refused and told me to enjoy with a smile on his face.

While dancing I suddenly got a sprain on my ankle and fell down. Which Aryan saw and he came towards me running and now everyone's attention were on us.

"Are you okay, What happened?" he said while checking up on me. "I think I sprained my ankle" I said while hissing in pain. "Can you try to get up" Aryan asked and tried to stand me up but I tried but fell down again due to pain. "I'm sorry sir I can't" I said with painful voice.

"It's okay, I think I have first aid in my room, let's take you there first" while saying that he lifted me in his arms and went towards his room without concerning that everyone else is watching us.

In Aryan's room (in resort)

"You're such a kid Aashi, you doesn't even know how to take care of yourself , tell me where it's paining, I'll spray this, you will feel good" he said with concerned voice, he was checking my foot all over.

Aashi's POV

When I sprained my ankle he ran towards me and without caring about his surroundings, he lifted me in his arms and when we reached to his room he made me sit on a bed and brings first aid box, asking me all the questions like where I was hurt, it is still paining, how careless I was and all but yes worry was the only thing visible in his eyes, at this moment I wasn't feeling pain, I just looked at him and smiled while he was busy treating my leg. And just like that I said.......

"I love you, Aryan"

Aryan froze for a moment and stopped treating my leg and than he looked at me being all confused." Aashi if it's one of your pranks than you better stop it" he said without looking at me

"Do I look like I'm joking Aryan" my voice was serios but soft. "What do you mean?" now his face was serious, he stood up my asked me while looking into my eyes.

"I mean exactly what I said. I LOVE YOU ARYAN OBEROI. I didn't knew when it happened but it happened. At first I thought that it's just a mere crush but after coming on this trip I have realized that it's not a crush anymore that I have completely fallen you and I know that you also love me ...." before Aashi could continue she heard a loud voice

"NO I DON'T Aashi, I don't Love you and I never did. I'M YOUR GODAMN PROFESSOR YOU DAMMIT. How can you even think about it. We can't be together not now, not ever and don't know why're you under the impression that I'm in love with you but I assure you I'm not and I can never be in love with my student. I was little friendly towards you because you're my neighbor. I thought of you as a friend but I think you took it in a wrong way. It will be good for you if you focus on your studies instead of playing love love. And from now on we won't talk to each other outside of University unless it's about study. Am I clear" he said but didn't get response from her side so he again shouted "AM I CLEAR" and Aashi flinched, so she nodded her head a little and left from there without saying a word or looking at him.

Aryan POV

When I was applying medicine on her ankle she suddenly said something which took me off guard. She confessed her feelings for me "I Love you, Aryan" the moment I heard this words I was stunned. at first I thought it was one of her pranks but it wasn't. I confronted her, and lashed out at her, but when I was lashing out at her she listened me keeping her head down, crying continuously, tears were rolling down to her cheeks. Never once she interrupted me and left my room and without saying a word, and that's when I realized that I have fucked up.

"Aryan you idiot, what have you done" I said while grabbing my hair out of frustration. "She's just a college girl, it's very normal for girls around her age having crushes, instead of politely declining her proposal you just lashed out her like a idiot, ahhhh why did I loose my temper like that. It's ok I'll apologize to her tomorrow morning in bus, she's going to sit with me anyways" I thought and lay downed on bed.
