Chapter 27 - Dilemma

Since the day Veer had accident, Aashi hadn't left him alone single day, she visited him everyday in hospital, some day with Aryan and some day without him, she even insist him to stay with them but Veer being Veer, he never agreed. 

Today Veer was getting discharged from the hospital and Aashi and Aryan were there for him. When the paper work was done and they reached to Veer's hotel room, Aashi brings out the food and served him. "have it while it's still hot or else it won't taste good, and it will also give you nutrition" she said while serving him a bowl of soup. Veer took one spoon soup and then looked at Aashi. "How it is Veer, it's the first time ever you're tasting my cooking" Aashi asked Veer with hopeful eyes. "Oh my god Aashi since when did you start cooking because the Aashi I knew, she didn't even knew how to make a coffee and here you made me this super yummy soup" Veer said while drinking his soup. Upon hearing Veer Aashi started laughing, Oh please Veer, you're just exaggerating things" Aashi said 

 "Aryan you also have it" she said while passing him a bowl of soup as well. "No darling, I'm not hungry right now I'll have it later" Aryan said while winking at her. "Ohh! ....that's okay hubby" Aashi said while giving him a sheepish smile. 

"Don't you guys have any shame left, A patient is here in front of you and you're being all lovey dovey, doing romantic stuff in front of a single person, are you rubbing salt on my wound you shameless people" Veer said being all dramatic "by the way this soup is delicious, I need one more filling" Veer said while licking his spoon and passing the bowl to Aashi 

"here" Aashi gave soup to Veer. "you know there was a time when I used to live alone for a week, because my dear husband was so busy in his work that he didn't even come home for a week, so of course I learned cooking" Aashi said proudly. "Well I didn't knew that you can cook this well" Veer said and Aashi thanked him.

Once they were done with all the arrangements, Aashi and Aryan left from there biding there goodbye to Veer. When they both reached Aryan kind of felt hungry, "Honey do you still have that soup left, I'm kinda hungry now and after that I'll order something for us as we both are tired" Aryan said and Aashi showed a thumps up to Aryan. "Just give a moment, I'll heat it for you" Aashi puts bowl in microwave and after a minute brings out and gave it to Aryan and had little for herself as well. But once she tasted one spoon of soup she immediately spilite that soup out of her mouth.  "What happened Aashi, is everything alright why did you spilite the soup" Aryan asked with concern.

"Aryan, It's super salty and extremely spicy, it doesn't taste good at all, I'm feeling like vomiting just after having 1 spoon, how the hell Veer manage to drink 2 whole bowls, Oh my god" Aashi pulled her hairs in frustration. "Baby relax, it's not a big deal, this kind of mistake are very common in kitchen, and maybe Veer likes food with some extra salt and spices, maybe that's why he liked it" Aryan said while consoling her. 

"No Aaru, you don't understand, Veer have zero tolerance of spice, he can't eat anything salty or spicy, whenever we attended any meeting in a restaurants he always ordered the simplest food from there with minimum spices, I'm feeling bad now" Aashi said while making the guilty face. "Aashi that's alright, it's just a silly mistake and it's happen, you don't have to make such a big deal out of it, and of course everything can't be Veer's liking, he has to adjust, and he's doing that, I don't know why you're behaving like this" Aryan said in a loud irritating voice and left from there in anger.

When Aryan left from there, Aashi was standing in a complete silence, because Aryan never reacted that way before, it was the first time ever he raised his voice at her.

AASHI'S POV

"What happened to him, why did Aryan reacted that way, he never talked to me in this manner, I have to talk to him" Aashi was in her deep thinking and now she goes to her bedroom and saw that Aryan is already sleeping. "Maybe I'll talk to him tomorrow" by saying that she also lay down on the other side of bed while  her back was facing him. Aryan what's the matter with you, if something isn't right please let me know, but don't distance yourself with me like that, she thought and fell asleep. 

When Aashi fall asleep, Aryan opened his eyes slowly and looked at Aashi with guilty eyes. Aryan  stood up from his place and goes to balcony "I'm so sorry Aashi, that I raised my voice at you, I'm ashamed of myself, I don't know that what come over me, please forgive your silly husband.

Next Morning

When Aryan woke up and came downstairs  he saw that Aashi was decorating dining table. "Good morning Baby" Aashi said with a gentle smile. Aryan was kinda shocked because it wasn't the reaction he was expecting from her, he was prepared for a angry Aashi but Aashi was behaving exact opposite, and he was droning in guilt.

"Aashi... I'm sor....." Aryan wanted to say something but got interrupted by his wife. "You're sorry for yesterday's behaviour, you didn't mean it and ectara ectara ..." she said while putting Toste on dining table and then she looked at him, Aashi held his hand and made him sit on the chair.

 "Sit here" Aashi took a deep breath and sit on her knees while holding Aryan's hand and  said "Aaru I know that you didn't mean whatever you said because I know my Aaru, I know there is something bothering you which you're not telling me, but Aryan I'm your wife, I'm your other half, and I have every right to know if something is troubling you, so please tell me what it is troubling you" Aashi said with hopeful eyes.

"Nothing" .... Aryan said and started eating his breakfast but he couldn't dare to meet her gaze.  "Please Aaru, tell me because you won't behave the way you behave yesterday unless it's something, you know what I mean right" Aashi said.

"I'm telling you Aashi it's nothing" Aryan was silent, not wanted to tell her about his insecurities. But Aashi was determined to know the truth. "Aryan how I suppose to help you unless you are not telling me that what's the problem" Aashi loses her cool and said in a irritating voice. "It's VEER.... Veer is the reason I'm behaving like this" Aryan also not able to keep his calm shouted and said and Aashi who wasn't able to understand anything and asked Aryan "What do you mean It's Veer" 

Aryan facepalmed himself and muttered "SHIT!!!, Aashi, I don't like the closeness between you and Veer" Aashi was left with alter shock "What are you saying Aryan, Veer is my friend and you know that very well" Aashi said, but a little bit of anger was present in her voice. 

"But does he also consider you as one of his friend, the answer is no, he still loves you Aashi and you also know that"  Aashi was about to say something but Aryan interrupted her "and don't you dare to deny it, because you're also very well aware from this fact that he still can't move on from you, how do you think I must be feeing that the man who fell in love with my wife 5 years ago is still in love with her, that my wife can't see how restless I have been ever since Veer again came to our life or that she's so much busy to take care of his so called friend that she's not giving time to her husband, that she can't see that I'm craving for her time her love her attention" Aryan said in one go and took a deep breath.

"He had a fucking accident here Aryan, I wasn't on picnic, can't you see he's all alone here, here is no one who can take care of him, isn't it our responsibility to take care him" Aashi said in frustration. "And we did that didn't we" suddenly Aryan said in a loud voice "We took care of him right, I never stopped you whenever you visited him, but now he's all fine so don't you think that you should focus on you married life instead of a man who's is in love you or maybe creating a situation where he can be close to you" 

Aashi was shocked after listing to Aryan she couldn't believe that Aryan was saying things like this "Okay so just tell me what you want exactly, what do you think I should do now because I don't like arguing with you like this and specially if it's because of a third person" Aashi said

 "Don't meet him anymore" Aryan didn't take a second and said "He's all okay now, he's recovered, so don't meet him anymore don't talk to him, can you do it for me?" He asked, his eyes had this unknown fear "Okay" Aashi said while meting his gaze "I won't keep any kind of relationship with Veer, from now on I don't  know anyone name Veer" Aashi said and left from there in anger.
