Oh my precious tannie. You are dearly missed by everyone 💜

___________

Author's POV:

Their shared bed was an endearing mess today's morning: the comforter draped halfway onto the floor, pillows piled in disarray, and faint impressions on the mattress marking where their bodies had rested through the night.

A certain bunny faced human was laying across his husband's lap, his head cushioned by one of Tae's thighs. Jungkook's hair, still slightly wet from the shower, framed his serene expressions as he gazed upward. Taehyung was sitting upright with crossed legs, devoted entirely to the task at hand.

A small, polished razor glinted between Taehyung's long, slim fingers as he carefully shaved Jungkook's face. The sharp edge glided along the brunette's jawline, wiping away remnants of shaving foam. Beside Tae, on the nightstand was a small white fluffy towel, folded neatly, and an array of skincare products lined up with an almost military precision— a toner, two serums, a moisturizer, and not to mention a tiny jade roller.

"This spot is always tricky," Taehyung murmured, to himself mainly. His fingers tilted Jungkook's chin slightly, angling it towards the light. "You have such a strong jawline, Koo, it's like shaving a marble statue. Gosh it's so sharp, I am afraid the razor's gonna get a nick from it"

Younger blinked at the comment, but his gaze remained fixed on his husband. His big brown eyes following every micro-movement of the older man's expression. The way Taehyung's brows furrowed with focus, the delicate curl of his lips as he breathed steadily—it all held Jungkook captive as if in a spell. Brunette hadn't blinked in what felt like minutes.

"Are you even listening to me?" Taehyung asked, pausing to wipe the blade clean on the towel. His lips quirked into a faint smile as he glanced down at Jungkook's unflinching stare. "You're awfully quiet. What's the matter, hmm?"

Jungkook's lips parted slightly, but no words came. Instead, he gave a tiny shake of his head, without breaking the eye contact .Taehyung let out a soft chuckle, his fingers brushing lightly over Jungkook's cheek to check his progress.

"You're acting like this is the first time I've shaved you," Taehyung teased, "We did this last weekend too. What's so fascinating today?"

Jungkook remained silent, though the corners of his mouth twitched upward in a faint, bashful smile. Taehyung sighed dramatically at younger's stubbornness for not speaking, setting the razor aside for a moment to pick up a bottle of toner. He poured a few drops onto a cotton pad.

"Okay, let's talk about today's plans," Taehyung began, dabbing the cotton pad gently along Jungkook's freshly shaved skin. "After grabbing breakfast, we are finding Hani's gift. You have already made the grocery list, right? Oh, and don't forget to remind me to pick up more sheet masks. We're down to only two."

Jungkook just kept nodding to everything Tae said, like an obedient puppy he is for his hubby.

Taehyung turned his attention back to the skincare routine, picking up the jade roller next. "This is supposed to help with puffiness, precious" he explained, rolling the cool stone gently along Jungkook's cheekbones. His voice carried the same tone he used when describing art or music, rich with appreciation.

Jungkook's eyes flickered briefly towards the roller before returning to Taehyung's face. His fingers tightened slightly on Taehyung's knee as if to say; Don't stop talking

Taehyung didn't disappoint. He continued to ramble about the benefits of niacinamide and the importance of SPF, completely oblivious to the two big red hearts in Jungkook's eyes swimming in the lenses like shown in the cartoons. Or maybe at this point, Tae was just too habitual of his husbunny's loving stares for him.
