Author's POV:
The world unfolding in beautiful snowy strokes beyond the wide glass windows, the view of whole ride from Seoul to Chuncheon is indeed a magnificent one.
It was Taehyung's idea to take the train and Jungkook agreed because let's be honest when has he ever said No to his husband?
Hence here they were... enjoying the privacy of their secluded booth. One of Silverhead's leg was stretched lazily beneath the table while the other was propped on the seat beside Jungkook.
There was a book resting in Tae's hand, its pages fanned open, because the reader's attention had long diverted from it. And was captured by a finer piece of art.
Brunette, who was sitting across from his husband, leaning back comfortably, held his phone in one hand, scrolling with laziness. Unaware of the fact that a certain pair of oceanic eyes were on him.
Younger's other hand rested on Taehyung's leg, fingers moving in slow, thoughtful circles against latter's calf, absentmindedly tracing soft paths that neither pressed too much nor paused too long.
If Taehyung was enjoying this treatment, he didn't comment on it. Instead, he simply engrossed himself in observing how beautifully the setting sun was streaking Jungkook's side profile with gold, and how younger's sharp jawline was being kissed by the gentle shadows of the train's movement.
Taehyung desparately wished to capture Jungkook's face like this but he knew if he shuffled to grab his phone right now, there was high possibility that Koo would notice his intentions.
Tae was feeling a pull in his chest, an ache that wasn't quite painful but wasn't easy either. It was the kind of feeling that whispered, this is it, this is everything you need in this life.
The world outside might have been rushing past, but in this moment, time seemed to slow, folding itself around them like a weighed blanket.
If someone asked Taehyung what was the exact moment he realised his purpose of life? Why he was born? Why he went through everything that he did? His answer would be so simple: Here. This is why. So one day, I could sit in front of a man with gentle eyes and kind heart, watch sun play hide & seek with his hair. And hopelessly fall in love with him all over again.

Barely half an hour into the journey and Tae already wanted to eat something. He stood up from his seat and crossed over to Jungkook's side, plopping down beside him. His shoulder bumped Koos as he tilted his head dramatically onto the younger's shoulder.
Jungkook slipped his phone into his pocket, his attention now entirely on Taehyung. "Hungry?" he asked, rubbing his palm fondly against Tae's tummy from outside his shirt.
Taehyung's eyes immediately flickered with curiosity when he saw Koo reaching out for the backpack by his feet.
Jungkook pulled out a small plastic container and set it on the table, the lid still secured.
Tae leaned closer towards it.
Younger smiled, and popped open the lid, revealing perfectly peeled and segmented orange slices.
