Few years later...

"Mommy, I don't like these shoes. I want to wear my Crocs," I huffed. My eight-year-old son was being very difficult, and we were in a rush to get to Beyoncé's hair care launch party.

She developed this line mainly for our daughters. She had the idea a few years back and finally decided to go through with it.

We were in the process of getting ready for her launch party, and my son was upset that he couldn't wear his Crocs with his tuxedo

"Omari, you can't wear those shoes tonight, sweetheart. Please just put on the shoes I've laid out for you." I was seated at my vanity, touching up my makeup. Finally, with a whine, Omari left the room.

"Mom, which dress should I wear?" GG's question made me spin around. She was still not dressed. Always running late, I wondered who she got that from.

"Giselle, you were supposed to be ready. Your mama is going to kill me," I shook my head, surprised by how indecisive a 16-year-old could be.

"Okay but mom which one?"

"The right one," I said without even looking, just needing her to get dressed. I glanced down at my phone, which kept buzzing with the caller ID showing "Wife💍." I quickly answered.

"Hey baby, where are y'all?"

"We're coming I promise you know how GG and Omari are"

"Tell GG to hurry up, yall need to be here soon"

She hung up just as I was slipping on my heels. My twins were already with Beyonce, always sticking close to her. My little ones are now twelve and, to be honest, they haven't changed much.

Brielle is super outgoing and loves to dance - she's even in a dance group. Meanwhile, Noel is more reserved and likes to keep to himself.

Giselle is sixteen now and she's really into makeup. But Beyonce isn't a fan of her wearing it. Hopefully, there won't be any fuss about her makeup today. I made sure she kept it light.

My last baby, Omari he's eight and very spoiled, he has a temper when he doesn't get his way. It's really always that last child that'll test you everytime.

"Giselle, Omari.. let's go now," I said, walking downstairs. We moved to Los Angeles a year after we got married, seeking a change in scenery and new opportunities for us and our children.

Everyone moved with us except Solange; she's in New York with her husband and son, Julez.

"Can I drive mom?"

"If we weren't in such a rush, I really would've let you, baby," GG is currently trying to learn how to drive so she can get her license. For a while, she was scared to get behind the wheel.

We got into my car, buckling up before I drove off to the party. Making it there in ten minutes, we were just in time. Thank God, I did not want to hear my wife's mouth.

We walked in being greeted with flashes and hugs from different people, I didn't know who I was hugging. Beyonce has made a name for herself here in LA with her businesses, very well known.
