"shiyaa the house reeks" Jensen said when he came home later that day.

"of course it doesn't, stop over reacting" Duane replied.

"I just don't care for the guy, it's bad enough that we have to tolerate him dating Pon without having him in the house as well!" Jensen complained.

"you should keep your voice down, how is Pon going to feel if he overhears you whining about him having his boyfriend over?" Duane said.

"I know baby, I'm trying to get used to the idea it's just that I feel responsible for him, everything that happened is my fault, if I hadn't made friends with him in the first place he would still be ..."

"look, you don't even know if Pon is the same Pon you grew up with, it's just conjecture" Duane said.

"come on babe, the name, the tat' the candy fangs, the way he turned up on our doorstep" Jensen replied.

"but they don't even look the same, how could he be him? ... Pon died baby, he ..."

"I know he died, I was there damn it!" Jensen growled then felt guilty before continuing,

"look I'm sorry for snapping at you baby but you heard Tulsi, he said he would find a way, he said to trust him, I have to believe because if I don't and Pon's really gone then I killed him, it's my fault ... he could have been married by now, he could have had kids ..."

"I know baby, trust me I know" Duane said pulling Jensen into his arms.

"he was my best friend and I killed him, I killed him ..."

"shhh shhh, let me make you some tea, do you still have those pills that the doctor gave you?" Duane asked his mate.

"mmm I think there are a few left" Jensen replied.

"take one with your tea and go and lie down, you'll feel better after resting" Duane said.

"thank you baby, I'm sorry about all this ... sometimes I envy Pon being able to forget" Jensen said.

"don't say that"

"he only came here to try and get us both back together, I still can't comprehend that he would have betrayed us all, it could have just been all talk because he was hurting ... how do we even know that Tulsi was right?" Jensen said.

"I can't answer that but we have to believe in what he said" Duane replied.

"I guess so but Pon wasn't like that, he was the sweetest, kindest kid" Jensen laughed at his personal memories.

"come on, you can tell me some more stories while I make you that tea" Duane said leading him to the kitchen.

Pon stood on the stairs listening to Jensen and Duane's conversation not that he understood any of it. He hadn't meant to eavesdrop, he had just been coming down to say hi to Jensen when he had heard them both talking.

So Jensen had a friend whose name was Pon as well but his other friend had died, maybe that's why he let him stay here because he reminded him of that friend?

Was he hurting Jensen by staying here ... maybe he should move on? He had saved up a little money and he could find work somewhere else. Pon walked up to his room and stood at the window looking out across the forest, he didn't want to upset anyone.

He pulled his phone out of his pocket and looked at his contact list, he looked at all the images of all the people he knew and the one called Raz jumped out at him. He read the text beneath the image ... my boyfriend Raz, he would know what to do, should he call him and ask him?
