The wolf linked everyone in,

"I deserve a bloody academy award guys, I'm sorry alpha but I had to make contact, he thinks I'm hurt but at least I've managed to prevent him from getting to the highway.

"I'm almost there anyway, stay with him" Raz asked her then told the others they could return home if they wanted to and when he was about half a mile away from the rendezvous point he met Oon who had brought him some clothes and footwear.

He shifted quickly into his human form and dressed before thanking Oon and asked him to go back and cook up a batch of stew or something then he set off jogging in the direction of his mate.

He didn't breathe easily until he had him in his sight, he was sat on the ground with his rucksack beside him and the she-wolf rested her head on his lap. It irritated Raz even though he knew why she was doing it and he didn't waste any time in letting her know he had arrived.

She raised her head and pricked up her ears as she heard her alpha approach and Pon who had been falling asleep sat up straight and looked in the direction where the wolf was looking.

"who's there, what can you see?" he whispered to the wolf who suddenly stood up and ran into the forest.

"hey, I thought you were injured?" Pon called out after it before realising he was alone again and then he heard footsteps approaching and the leaves crunched,

"who's there?" he called out.

"baby, what the hell are you doing out here?" Raz called out as he got closer.

Pon pulled out his cellphone and turned on the torch to see who was there and was shocked to see a man stalking towards him, an angry look on his face.

"who are you?" Pon asked him as he took a few steps back.

"look at your bracelet" Raz said.

Pon looked at the bracelet on his wrist and at the tiny photograph then he turned the charm over and read the words ...

"Raz?"

"that's me, now do you want to tell me what you're doing out here?" Raz asked him

"I don't actually know? wait I must have written something" Pon said trying to get his note book.

"you can tell me later, right now I just want to get you home" Raz said.

"home?" Pon replied.

"yes, you're coming home with me, we are boyfriends after all" Raz said.

"do we live together?" Pon asked.

"we do now!" Raz replied.

"oh ... ok"

"are you hurt, can you walk ok?" Raz asked him.

"my feet hurt a bit but ..."

Raz didn't wait to hear any more, he threw Pon's rucksack over his shoulder and scooped Pon up bridal style then began to carry him back to his pack house.

After about an hour of walking at a steady pace they arrived at the golden sunset pack house and Raz found Oon standing on the porch awaiting their return.

"there's hot coffee on the stove boss and a big pan of stew bubbling away" Oon said as Raz took the steps two at a time.

Pon had fallen asleep in his arms so he walked straight inside and laid him gently on one of the many sofas then he turned to Oon to thank him before turning back to Pon and running his hands over his thighs then sliding his hand into Pon's jean pockets
