Morning hit when everything blew over, time ticking past noon as Egan's eyes adjusted to the scene in front of him, noticing how you were starting to wake up with a stifled yawn. It brings a simple smile to his lips, how you slowly come to your senses as you turn towards him. Egan lets himself lean up on one of his elbows, wanting to watch you a moment longer. "Good morning."

With an exhausted sigh under your breath, you shake away the need to go back to sleep as you feel the aches in your muscles and the soreness in your throat. "Morning John, one hell of a time last night."

Moving to bury your fingers in your hair, you self-comb the knots out as you let the strands untangle themselves. Egan lets out light laughter, taking note of your disheveled state to the tiresome expression on your face. "That's an understatement."

"It was almost too good." Everytime, you can't bring yourself to think about the numerous events of last night without getting flustered, trying hard to not replay them in your head. Egan's heart gives itself a jump, wanting to leap out of his chest after realizing just how much he loved spending time alone with you now. "Was it really?"

"I'm not letting this boost your ego, John. It was amazing, but don't start gloating about it." Hearing you give away just how you thought about the hours earlier with him too only causes a sly smile to reveal itself, sitting up to poke you in the side. "Alright, I won't say a thing. Though, is your tousled sight normal in the mornings or is all this just a part of the package deal from last night?"

Seeing the way he looks at you slyly causes you to shake your head, taking your turn to poke him in the side with a scowl. A bit harder than he did seconds prior. Pretending to seem hurt, his smile turns upside down. "Anything to make you feel better then?"

That you weren't sure of as you thought about his question over, not many ways to make yourself instantly alright besides coffee and that was always a wanted necessity to have around. It wasn't the best solution for you, but it was the energy you needed. "Coffee, preferably. I'm sure there's a cafè around the block."

"Sounds like a plan to me." Egan agrees upon hearing the request, getting out from under the sheets of the bed to only be met with the creakiness in his neck. While you wanted to go with him to get the coffee and see what London had to offer for you two in the morings, you feel yourself not wanting to leave the room just yet. You weren't sure if it was from the way you looked or because you were never a morning person. "Can you go? I wanted to stay here a bit longer."

A groan leaves Egan's lips as he stretches, his movements quick to pull on his pants and to clasp the belt over his uniform. The arms of his slip through the sleeves of his jacket, yanking it over his shoulders while grabbing his hat in the process. "I definitely can."

"I'll see you when you get back." A quick goodbye was what you gave him before falling back into the comfort of the bed, the pillow engulfing your face. Returning a wave to you, he gives a smile before he closes the door, off to get that much needed coffee.

Smoke was the only thing that littered the sky up with darkness as murmurs of voices spread throughout the streets. The footsteps of Egan as he kept himself together sauntered down the pavement paths on the side, away from the people who've been hurrying from one direction to the next.

Others stood in groups before him, blocking his way to any café possible as he paused to stand on the outskirts of them. Letting a few moments tick by, he waits for the chance to pass through yet the chatter was too loud from a distance, no one moved around to let him through.

Only then a lady fully dressed in red drapes with a deep colored beret steps in front of him to drop mail from her grasp. Egan takes a step near her, the urge to stop the lady as he questions her with his eyebrows drawn forward. "Excuse me ma'am, do you know where I can buy a paper? Along with some Coffee."
