THE LAST MISSION

CHAPTER 20

Bumalik kami sa kotse nawalang imik. Para akong tanga kanina. Lahat yata ng dugo ko ay pumunta na sa pisnge ko. After he burst out he laughed at me amusedly. After that he kissed my forehead and we got inside the car.

Parang tanga naman kasi 'tong lalaking 'to. Bakit nya sasabihin nyo sakin. My God!

What do you expect from someone who is dreaming to make love with you.

That memory came again. I gasped unconsciously and it made Gauis to glace at me.

"Maylsh?"

"N-nothing."

Tumingin ako sa labas at nakitang papalapit na kami sa simhaban kanina. How can he act like nothing when he just said something... Argh! Whatever.

"Stop the car. I want to go to the water park." I requested.

"Why? Are you tired?"

"I'm not. I want to play. I haven't tried it."

"Okay."

Nakarating kami kung saan sya nagpark kanina. Nauna akong lumabas kahit ka sinabi nyang hintayin syang buksan nya ang pinto. Agad ako pumunta sa park at nakitang kunting taong naglalaro. In a minute Gauis was already beside me.

"Come. Let's play." He said and pulled me towards the water.

There's a big fountain in the center and a water coming from below. I laughed the moment the water mets my skin. Gauis was holding my hand as we play to the water. Basang basa kaming dalawa at sinabuyan pa ako ng tubig galing sa fountain. He laughed kaya gumati ako pero ayaw nya magpatalo.

"Gauis!"

He laughed and ran off.

Hinanap ko sya at pumunta na pala ang bugok sa mga bata. He was playing with the kids. Or should I say bullying them. I shook my head at umupo sa batong nakapalibut sa fountain. Nilagay ko ang paa sa loob at agad nakaramdam ng lamig.

This is a perfect day. I was smiling so happy but a strong hand pushed me. Kaya nahulog ako sa fountain. Mabuti nalang ay hanggang bewang ko lang ang tubig. I glared at the person who pushed me and it was Gauis. He was grinning so widely kaya sinabuyan ko sya ng tubig.

"Gauis, you jerk!"

"Baby stop!" He was smiling so widely and enjoying everything I did.

Hindi nagtagal ay kinuha nya ako sa loob at napagdesisyonan muna naming kumain. He brought me to the food market and we ate everything he bought. Were at the food market everything looked so crowded and the two of us is sitting at the plastic chairs, wet, and total mess.

Sinusubuan nya ako na parang isa akong bata ma hindi alam kumain. "Masarap diba?"

Tumango ako.

"Paborito mo ito noon. I will always sneak out just to buy this Chebureki." He was referring to the deep fried delight. Shaped like a half moon with ground beef and minced onion inside.

"Try this one, baby." Sinubuan nya ako ng pabilog na tinapay na may lamang meat rin sa loob.

"It's piroshky. Yummy right?" I nodded.

Eating everything he gave me because he have the most beautiful on his face. He was so proud and excited introducing me to his favorite food. I don't want to ruin it even though I don't like the onion. I smiled sweetly and finished everything. Bumili ito ng kape at binigya sakin.

"I don't want to drink coffee."

"I know. But your cold, it might help a little."

Bumalik kami sa kotse nya at agad nya pinatay ang AC. It was cold but this man came prepared. He gave me a blanket. A freaking blanket. Nasa likod iyon ng kotse nya. Kinuba nya ang kape na hindi mainit at ininom ito.
