CHAPTER 14

Gauis was busy talking to someone through his phone so I started looking around. Nasa jewelry store kami ngayon. Naka sampung bag sya kaya napag-isipan ko na bilhan din ito ng galing sa pera ko. She told me to wait ten minutes. I smirked and remembered what I wrote. 'you're under arrest, jerk.' I'm sure the moment he will notice it he'll take it off. It's just for fun, it's not really expensive compared to what he brought for me.

I saw Gauis look around and put his phone on his pocket the moment he saw me. Lumapit ito sakin at nilagay ang kamay nya sa isang glass counter. Blocking my way for the left side.

"Are you done, Maylsh?" He asked softly. I shook my head as a reply and it made him frown.

"Do you want something?"

"I bought something." He frowned.

"Maylsh, I told you. You spend, I pay."

"It's not that expensive." I reasoned out.

"Nonsense. Where is it?" Hanap nya sa bagay na binili ko.

Hindi ko na ito sinagot ng dumating ang saleslady kanina. She smiled at me and aksed me if I wanted to put it in a box. I shook my hand and took it. Walang sabi kong kinuha ang kamay ni Gauis at nilagay ang cuffed bracelet sa kanya. He looked surprised I even felt him stilled.

"W-what?" Mukhang nawala ito sa katinuan nya. Napailing nalang ako sa kanya at una nang umalis sa store. Kinuha na ng mga guard ang pinagbili ni Gauis. Hinintay ko ang lalaki sa labas at mukhang hindi parin sya makapaniwala sa binigay ko dahil hanggang nakalabas sya ay nakatingin parin ito sa bracelet na binigay ko.

"Is this really for me, maylsh?" He asked like he couldn't believe a single thing.

"Yeah. It's just a bracelet, Gauis. Let's go."

"Fuck." I heard him mumbled hardly. Nilagay nya ang isang kamay sa bibig nya at ang isa naman ay sa dibdib nya. I saw his ears redden and he looked like he was lacking air.

"Hey! What is wrong?" I asked worriedly. Pumunta ako sa harap nya dahil parang nauulol na ito.

"What–"

"You're so fucking beautiful. Will you marry me?"

Nagulat ako sa sinabi nya at nabato. Nakatingin ito sa mga mata ko. I was looking up because he is so tall. His eyes just glisten with determination and adoration. I gulped and looked away because something is not right to me anymore. I blushed and turned around leaving him.

"Nasaan si Cassius?" Matigas nyang tanong. I stilled and my eyes widened when I realized something.

Shit. I just left him inside. I must have lost my mind. Bakit ko sya iniwan sa loob. Agad akong humarap sa likuran ko at nakahinga ng maluwag ng nakita syang palabas na sa mall. Nasa dalawang bulsa nya ang mga kamay at walang pakeng naglalakad palapit samin.
