"Lizzie!" A particular brunette pulled her sister away before things go wrong. Brown and blue stared at each other, as the two sisters clash in silence. "Fine," Lizzie surrendered, giving Penelope a disgusted look before leaving with Josie, who paid the other brunette no mind.

Penelope's heart stung at Josie's indifference. Her heart ached for one more glance coming from her, yet Josie spared her none. "You know," Penelope's eyes rolled as the voice spoke. "Josie would take you back if you start being nice to Lizz-"

"No!" She faces the young vampire, "Lizzie Saltzman is a monster, and she has Josie wrapped around her little fingers." MG sighs, "Aren't you exaggerating things?" Penelope shook her head, "No. I'll save Josie from Lizzie's grip."

"How?"

"By making her see the ugly monster she calls a sister."

MG sighs, again. This girl is so difficult. "And you think that will make her love you again? Hurting the person she values the most?" Penelope laughs, "The person she values is a parasite that I need to extinguish," MG's face contorts into an expression she couldn't decipher. "Wha-"

"I know you and my daughter have your differences, Penelope," Oh no. Penelope turns around, coming face to face with Mrs. Salvatore. Fuck. "And I can see that how it ended with Josie has deeply hurt you. But, for the sake of everyone's sanity, talk with the girls."

"But sh-"

"Talking. Not insulting or cursing. Talking."

Penelope bows her head, "Yes ma'am," Caroline smiles, "You're a good person. Smart. Kind. And you're willing to do anything in the name of protecting the ones you love. But there are better ways to do so," Caroline pats the girl's shoulder before turning to the terrified vampire, "The team is looking for you MG. You better go,"

"Yes ma'am,"

Meanwhile, in a forest not too far away. "Hope, I don't know how the knife got to me-"

"Oh? Really?" Landon nodded frantically, all he could focus on was his brother who keeps groaning in pain. "Ok." Hope's statement came as a surprise to Landon. "You didn't steal the knife."

"Yes!" A sigh of relief escaped his lips far too soon.

"And I'm 6 feet tall."

"Ye-" Wait a minute. "Are you being sarcastic?"

"No...No." Hope's expression made Landon fear for his life. "Look, I'm sorry for pissing off and bothering a witch, but I didn't do it."

Hope laughed a little, "I'm not just a witch." Huh? "What are you?" Hope smirked, her eyes turned gold which sent chills up Landon's spine. "Someone you should never mess with." Hope turned around just in time to come face to face with Raf about to lunge at her. "Ad Somnum." Raf dropped to the ground, unmoving.

Landon got on his knees, "Please, don't kill him. He's the only family I have." His voice cracked as tears welled in his eyes. Something tugged of Hope's chest. Memories of her mother flash on her mind. Her family's oath 'Always and Forever' replay in her mind.

Hope walked a couple steps away from the pleading boy as tears threatened to escape her eyes. "Surgere." Raf sprang back to life, even though he wasn't technically dead. Landon hugged his brother tight, tears finally falling from his face. Hope stared at the brothers, sadness swam in her eyes.

A familiar roar caught everyone's attention. The brothers stood up, Raf ready to protect his brother. As the dragon-lady got near a familiar glow came from Landon's jacket, much to everyone's confusion. The boy opened his jacket, the knife appeared again in it's pocket. "What the fuck? I dropped that."
