Phayu knotted his tie as he stood in front of the mirror, getting ready for work. It had been almost a week since they left for the trip and now he had a lot of work to catch up on. They had returned home last night, even though Rain didn't want to come back. Eventually, they had to return, as Phayu knew Rain had his studies, and he himself had a lot of pending work that he can't ignore anymore.
After their intense moment on the beach, Phayu had brought Rain back inside. Rain was so tired and shy that he let Phayu take care of him without any protest. Rain couldn't understand what had come over him that made him act so boldly and shamelessly, practically begging Phayu to touch him, but whatever they felt at that moment couldn't be explain in words.
The rest of the trip was fun, though a strange tension constantly remained between them, that even the slightest touch would remind them of that moment on the beach. For Phayu, it had been one of the best times of his life. Being away from work and responsibilities felt like a breath of fresh air, and with Rain, everything seemed so simple and beautiful. Rain's way of looking at life and enjoying the smallest things to the fullest was something Phayu had never truly appreciated before. It made him realize the difference between merely being alive and truly living.
Rain also stirred emotions in him that he had never felt before possessiveness and jealousy, that he didn't know he would ever feel.
Phayu didn't like seeing anyone get too close to Rain, he didn't understand why, but he couldn't help it. He hated it when anyone got too friendly or close to Rain, like the restaurant owner they saw again when rain insisted on going back before they came back home. This time Phayu made sure the overly friendly and flirty owner stayed away from rain, he even kissed rain right in front of that guy, out if jealousy. Although, Rain gave him an earful for doing that and called him a pervert, but for Phayu, it was worth it.
The look on the guy's face as Phayu kissed Rain so passionately was unforgettable. After that, the owner stayed away from Rain, and the thought of it kept a satisfied smile on his face for the rest of their trip.
Right now, Rain was sprawled across the bed, his arms and legs stretched out as always. Phayu looked at him through the mirror before walking over to his side, to wake him up or otherwise he will surely get late for his university. "Rain wake up or you will be late," Phayu said shaking his body. Rain groaned in annoyance, pulling the blanket over his head, clearly not ready to wake up yet.
Waking Rain up when he didn't want to was one of the toughest tasks and Phayu had learned that well by now. Shaking his head, Phayu gave up and went downstairs to have his breakfast.
He was sitting at the dining table, sipping his coffee, when he saw Rain walking toward him, rubbing his eyes, with his ruffled morning hair. In his pajamas, he was looking absolutely adorable.
"Finally, you are up," Phayu said, taking another sip of coffee.
"Ugh" Rain grunted, too hungry to talk and began to fill food onto his plate. "Get ready. I will drop you at your university," Phayu said suddenly placing his coffee cup back on the table.
Rain immediately turned his head toward Phayu in surprise. "Really? You will drop me?"
"Only if you are ready in twenty minutes," Phayu took another sip of his coffee.
Rain nodded quickly and started eating faster. "I am done!" Rain said taking the last sip of his juice. He got up from the chair and dashed to his room to get ready.
Watching him run like that, Phayu shook his head with a smile. This boy is really like a bunny.
Soon Rain came back fully dressed and ready to go. Phayu dropped him off at the university before heading to work, where he had a full day of meetings waiting for him.
