The feeling of Phayu's lips and tongue on his finger is now too much for rain.
Rain tried to pull his hand away, but Phayu held it tightly, glaring at him before focusing back on the cut. Thankfully, it wasn't deep.
Phayu dragged him to the sink and ran water over his finger, then gently cleaned it with a tissue. "Stay still. Don't you dare move from here," Phayu said in a strict tone, leaving no room for argument. He walked off to get the first aid kit, while Rain stood quietly, watching him.
Phayu returned and carefully looked at Rain's finger before applying a bandage. Rain looked at the neatly placed bandage and then at Phayu.
"Why did you do that? My hand was dirty. You shouldn't have put it in your mouth like that," Rain asked, remembering how Phayu had sucked on his finger without hesitation. But as soon as he saw Phayu's expression, he stopped talking, deciding it was better to stay quiet.
"Does it hurt?" Phayu asked, his voice softer now.
Rain shook his head. "Not anymore."
Phayu looked into rain's eyes. "Why are you so careless? I told you I would cut the vegetables, but you didn't listen. Why are you so stubborn?" he scolded, half annoyed and half concerned.
Rain bit his bottom lip, staying quiet. Phayu sighed and went to put the first aid kit back in its place.
"Now that's enough. Stay away from knives. You don't know how to handle them."
"But what about the food?" Rain asked in a small voice.
Phayu turned to him, clearly annoyed. "Just be quiet and stay away. I will take care of it. You just stand there, alright?" With that, he returned to chopping the vegetables.
Rain felt a little happy as now he didn't have to cook anymore, but he also felt sad, he really wanted to cook something for Phayu "But I wanted to cook for you," he said, pouting his lips.
Phayu glared at rain "There is no need for that," He replied sternly. "Honestly, if I let you keep going, I am afraid you will burn the whole kitchen down."
Even though phayu's words sounded rude but deep down, he just didn't want Rain to hurt himself again....whether it's physically or emotionally.
Phayu was much faster than Rain and quickly finished chopping the vegetables and other ingredients. He then started cooking. "You can't even follow a simple recipe," Phayu teased as he stirred.
Rain stood nearby, watching Phayu cook with such ease. He was moving so effortlessly, almost like a professional chef, and the aroma coming from the dish was already mouthwatering. Rain didn't respond to Phayu's teasing. Instead, he leaned closer to look into the pan. The food already looked so tempting.
"It looks so tempting," Rain said, his eyes fixed on the pan.
"Want to taste it?" Phayu asked.
Rain nodded eagerly. Phayu scooped a bit into a spoon and held it out for Rain to taste. Rain hesitated for a moment but then took a bite. The flavor surprised him...it was already so good. He hadn't expected it to turn out this delicious.
"Don't tell me you know how to cook!" Rain asked in surprise.
"No, I just followed the recipe," Phayu replied, setting the spoon aside.
"No way! You're lying. I have tried following recipes before, but it never worked," Rain said, remembering the time he tried to cook something when everyone at home was out. He had failed so badly that he ended up going to bed hungry that night.
"That's your problem, not the recipe's," Phayu said as he continued cooking.
Rain pouted in anger at Phayu's words but couldn't help being impressed by how talented his husband was. At that moment, Phayu looked incredibly attractive in his apron, his hands moving smoothly as he stirred the food with a spoon.
