He wasn't just angry...he was furious. He couldn't believe Ziva had gone this far. To lay a hand on Rain. That too in his house the one place he thought Rain would always be safe.

"You… you hit me?" she sobbed choking on her own voice. "You actually hit me?"

"I told you! I fucking told you not to even touch him. And you still did." Phayu said gritting his teeth in anger.

Ziva looked up at him, tears still flowing down her cheeks. But his face didn't soften...not even a little. His eyes were burning with the kind of anger she had only seen when he dealt with his enemies or the people he hated. People who tried to hurt him or someone he cared about. But this time… the look of hatred was for her.

Then her gaze shifted to Rain. The reason for everything. The reason Phayu slapped her...for the first time in her life. The reason Phayu stood against her not with her. And just like that everything inside her snapped.

"You," she hissed getting up on shaky legs, stumbling toward Rain. "You ruined everything!"

She launched at him without thinking, but before she could even get close Phayu hold her arm pushing her back hard.

Rain stood there frozen too shocked to even move.

"I will kill you!" She screamed, completely losing it. "Because of you my Phayu hit me! You ruined everything! You ruined us!"

She tried to go to rain again but Phayu didn't let her move an inch.

"I knew from the start what kind of person you were!" she shouted at Rain. "A filthy little wh..."

SLAP.

Another hard slap landed on her cheek before she could complete. Making her stumble and going numb, her face burned from the impact. The second slap hit harder than the first and this time Phayu's voice shook the walls.

"Shut up. Just shut the fuck up!"

"One more word. Just one more fucking word about him, and I swear.." he stepped closer holding her arm "I don't know what I will do."

"The person you are talking about is not just someone. He is my wife. My legally wedded wife. The person I married. So watch your mouth because i won't let anyone...and by anyone means anyone...disrespect him, not even you."

"Just because we had a past doesn't mean I will stay quiet while you insult him. And i have already told you a thousand times that part of our lives..It's over. We are over. We have been over for a long time. So get that in your head and stop acting like I belong to you. Because I don't! Not anymore"

He then pointed to the door "Now get out. Leave my house. And don't you ever show your face to me again."

Rain who was watching everything stepped forward and gently placed his hand on Phayu's arm. He could see it..phayu was barely holding himself back. Rain had known him long enough to sense when he was about to explode. Rain didn't want this to go any further. He had wanted to prove Ziva wrong, yes...but not like this. He wanted to win, not break people. But now things have gone too far. And Rain didn't want to see him do something he would regret.

He just wanted all of this to be over.

"Guards!" Phayu shouted and in an instant the guards rushed in.

"Get her out of my house. Right now!" he ordered.

Two of them stepped forward moving quickly toward Ziva who was still crying like a mess.

"Don't! Don't you dare touch me!" she screamed jerking away from them. "I am not going anywhere!"

The guards grabbed her arms trying to keep control without hurting her but she thrashed hard in their grip.
