"I don't have an umbrella," he replied simply, his tone carrying a hint of resignation.

I sighed inwardly, not entirely surprised. Why would he agree to something like this anyway? The rain continued to drum lightly against the windows, a soothing backdrop to the surreal situation unfolding before me.

Suddenly, Jake stood up, his expression determined. "Do you have one?" he asked.

I shook my head no. "Wait here, I'll be right back. They should have umbrellas at the store," he declared, already on his way.

Did he really agree to come to my place? I had to pinch myself to check if this was all real. Yes, it was.

After what felt like an eternity, he returned with an umbrella in his hand. "They only had one left. You take it," he insisted, handing it to me with a smile.

I hesitated, about to protest, but he cut me off gently. "I have a hood anyway."

Back at the apartment, I hurriedly ushered Jake inside, mindful of the rain dripping off his hood and pooling at his feet. The gentle pitter-patter against the windows intensified as he shook off the umbrella, water droplets scattering in all directions.

"Let me get you a towel," I offered, motioning towards the hallway where I knew the linen closet was.

Jake nodded gratefully, his eyes crinkling with a smile behind his mask. His presence in my small apartment seemed simultaneously surreal and natural, as if we had known each other longer than this brief encounter suggested.

As I retrieved a plush towel from the closet, I couldn't help but steal glances at Jake, discreetly observing his movements. He removed his hood, revealing tousled hair that clung damply to his forehead. Despite the casual setting, his demeanor exuded a quiet grace and composure, a stark contrast to the energetic performer I had seen on stage.

"Here you go," I said, handing him the towel as I met his eyes. "I hope this helps."

"Thanks," he replied, accepting it with a nod. "I appreciate your hospitality."

"You're welcome," I replied with a slight blush, feeling a rush of nerves and excitement mingled with a deep sense of gratitude. Jake's presence in my humble apartment felt both ordinary and extraordinary, a testament to the unpredictable nature of life.

Jake began drying his hair, the soft fabric of the towel absorbing the rainwater. The air around us seemed charged with an unspoken energy, the quiet murmur of the rain outside lending a soothing backdrop to our interaction.

"I'm not sure if I have clothes that will fit you, but I'll check," I said, leading him further into the apartment. He nodded briefly, a faint smile visible behind his mask. As I turned to search for spare clothes, I caught a glimpse of him. I was certain now—it was Jake, though he continued to wear the mask.

Returning after a short while, I had to admit defeat. "I have some clothes, but I don't think they'll fit you," I explained apologetically.

"There's someone next door who might have clothes to borrow. I'll be quick," I added, eager to solve the dilemma.

"It's alright, don't worry," he reassured me, his voice warm and calm." Your clothes are completely soaked. I don't want you to catch a cold. You can also take a warm shower in the meantime. Make yourself at home."

With that, I disappeared into the hallway, leaving Jake to make his way to the bathroom. The apartment felt strangely alive with his presence—a mix of his subtle, calming aura and the surreal realization that a member of Enhypen was standing in my living room.
