The soft morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a gentle glow over the room. I stirred awake, finding myself nestled comfortably in Heeseung's arms. My head was resting on his chest, and the rhythmic beat of his heart was a soothing soundtrack to the start of the day. His arm was draped protectively around me, holding me close.
I snuggled closer, breathing in his familiar scent and smiling to myself. There was something incredibly comforting about waking up like this, feeling so safe and cherished. As I shifted, Heeseung stirred beside me, tightening his arm around me and pulling me even closer.
He placed a tender kiss on my forehead and murmured in a sleepy voice, "Good morning, Chloe."
I looked up at him, meeting his half-open eyes and the soft grin that tugged at his lips. His hair was adorably tousled, making him look even more endearing. I couldn't help but give him a quick, affectionate kiss on the lips. "Good morning, Heeseung."
We lay there for a while, enjoying the peaceful quiet and the simple pleasure of being together. There was no rush, no urgency—just the two of us wrapped in our own little world. The warmth of his body, the feel of his heartbeat, and the comfort of his embrace made everything feel perfect.
After what felt like an eternity of blissful cuddling, Heeseung sighed and shifted slightly. "I should probably start getting ready. We have some content to shoot today," he said reluctantly.
I nodded, understanding but also feeling a pang of disappointment. "I'll stay here for a bit," I said, reaching for my phone to pass the time.
As he was about to head to the bathroom, Heeseung turned to me with a playful glint in his eye. "Want to keep me company?" he asked, winking mischievously.
I laughed softly, feeling a bit shy. "I think you wouldn't get ready in time if I did that."
He pouted a little but then nodded in agreement. "You're probably right," he said with a sigh and headed off to shower alone.
While Heeseung was in the bathroom, I scrolled through my phone, trying to distract myself from the longing to have more time with him. The sound of the running water was a gentle background noise, blending with the hum of the city waking up outside.
When Heeseung emerged from the bathroom, fresh and dressed, he looked at me with a smile. "You can stay here if you want, or go back to your room. It's up to you," he said, his tone casual but warm.
I considered it for a moment and decided, "I think I'll head back to my room. I need to get a few things done too."
He nodded, though I could see a hint of disappointment in his eyes. We both knew his schedules were busy, but it didn't make parting any easier. He stepped closer, wrapping me in a big hug. I clung to him, savoring the last few moments of our morning together.
Heeseung pressed a couple of light kisses on my face before letting me go. "I'll see you later, okay?" he said softly.
"Okay," I replied, giving him one last smile before slipping out of the room and heading back to mine.
As I walked down the hallway, I couldn't help but replay the morning in my head. The tenderness of Heeseung's touch, the warmth of his embrace, and the easy companionship we shared—it all made me feel incredibly lucky and content. Even though we had to part for a while, I knew we would have many more mornings like this one, filled with love and comfort.
After returning to my room, I took a quick shower to wake myself up, letting the warm water invigorate me. I chose a comfortable yet stylish outfit, perfect for a day of exploring the unfamiliar city. After applying a bit of makeup and tying my hair into a loose ponytail, I grabbed my bag, ensuring I had my phone, wallet, and more. Thus, I headed out to enjoy the city.
I didn't receive a single message from him all day. Even when I texted him asking how things were going, there was no reply. Maybe he just doesn't have time to check his phone. He'll definitely explain it to me once he's back.
