As we embraced, I could feel every breath he took, and with each inhale, I noticed his scent—a comforting, familiar aroma that instantly became my favorite. It was like his presence was woven into the very air around me, and I realized how much I had missed this simple, yet profound connection.

"Heeseung?" I spoke softly, almost as if afraid to break the spell of the moment.

"Hm?" he replied, pulling his head away just enough to look into my eyes. The soft, contented smile on his lips was mirrored by the gentle sparkle in his eyes. His gaze was deep and expressive, capturing the light in a way that made his eyes seem to glow with a warm, inviting radiance. It was as if his eyes were drawing me into an unspoken conversation, one filled with understanding and affection.

"I've missed you," I confessed, feeling my cheeks warm with a blush.

Heeseung's eyebrows lifted in surprise for a moment, but his expression quickly softened into one of genuine warmth. "I've missed you too, Chloe," he said, his voice tender and sincere.

The atmosphere between us grew even more intense, charged with a mix of emotion and unspoken feelings. Our gaze locked in a silent exchange that neither of us wanted to break. It was as if we were both caught in a moment where time stood still, the weight of our connection filling the space around us.

Just then, Heeseung's phone rang, startling us both out of our reverie. He glanced at the screen and said, "It's Jungwon. I need to take this call; maybe he discussed something with the manager."

I nodded, feeling a bit of space open up as he moved away. I settled onto the bed, resting comfortably while waiting for him to finish his call. As I lay there, I couldn't help but reflect on the unexpected depth of our reunion. The comfort and warmth I felt in his presence were unlike anything I had experienced before.

When Heeseung returned, he sat down on the edge of the bed. I turned to face him, curiosity piqued. "How did you know where my room was?" I asked.

"I just asked at the reception downstairs," he chuckled. "After all, the room is booked under my name."

I felt a little sheepish for not having thought of that myself. "Oh, right," I said, feeling slightly embarrassed.

"So, what's on the agenda for tomorrow?" I inquired, eager to know what the plans were.

"Tomorrow, we have rehearsal. It's going to take a while, but after that, we have the concerts over the next few days," he explained, a playful grin spreading across his face. "And you'll be there with us, of course."

"I'm really looking forward to it," I said, sitting up a bit. "Feel free to make yourself comfortable on the bed. It's big enough," I added with a light laugh, noticing how Heeseung was still perched on the edge, having to turn slightly to talk to me.

Heeseung's grin widened, and he shifted onto the bed, stretching out comfortably. His presence was reassuring, and the ease with which he settled in made the room feel even more welcoming. I felt a deep sense of contentment as we continued our conversation, the earlier intensity giving way to a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

As we chatted about the upcoming days and made plans, I felt a renewed sense of excitement and anticipation. The comfort of being near Heeseung and the promise of the days ahead made me feel incredibly grateful and happy.

As we continued talking, I lay on my side, facing him, while he reclined with his gaze fixed on the ceiling. His posture was relaxed and casual, his arms resting comfortably behind his head. His relaxed position only added to the serene and intimate atmosphere of the room.

From my vantage point, I could see his profile clearly. His strong jawline was accentuated by the soft light, and his hair, slightly tousled from travel, framed his face in a way that was both casual and effortlessly attractive.

His eyes, though turned upward, seemed to hold a quiet intensity, as if he was lost in thoughts about the days ahead. The gentle curve of his lips, still holding that soft smile, conveyed a sense of contentment and ease.
