Tori's POV

I yawned as I exited my house, locking the door behind me. It was currently 5 in the morning and Kai had just texted me that they were outside. He'd hired a drive me, him, and Fanum to the airport so all I had to do was hand over my bags and get in the backseat.

"Morning." I mumbled to him and Fanum as I got in the car, earning responses from them both. Fanum had taken shotgun and Kai was in the backseat with me. Things hadn't been as awkward as I was expecting them to be after what happened on Valentine's Day, and I was grateful. After that I'd told myself I was seriously going to cut back on the pills, they had me just doing whatever.

It was a quiet ride to the airport because everybody was too sleepy to conversate. Once we arrived and got everything checked in, I decided to go to Starbucks since there was time and the boys were taking a few pictures with some fans. It wasn't long before I rejoined them where we were sitting, seeing them both eye my order.

"What you got?" Kai questioned with furrowed brows.

"Just some egg bites and a Frappuccino." I explained simply.

"Let me try it." Kai spoke grabbing my drink, "And let me get a piece of the bagel." Fanum said reaching over to grab the bag.

I stared at them both in shock as Fanum popped an egg bite in his mouth, and Kai brought the cup to his lips before putting the top back on the cup.

"I knew I should've asked if y'all wanted something." I grumbled as I took my stuff back from them.

"Oh my God that shit is nasty." Kai said frowning as he wiped the foam off of his lip.

"That's what you get for being greedy." I stated before putting my straw into the cup taking a sip of the drink myself.

After getting some food in my system and talking with them, it finally came time to board. I was actually excited to be going on this trip, and I was pretty sure Kai felt the same. This was our first time flying somewhere together and being back home was bound to bring up some good memories. As soon as we were situated in my seats I leaned over putting my head on Kai's shoulder making him smack his teeth.

"You should've brought a neck pillow." He complained but didn't move me.

"I did, the limited edition KC3." I joked while patting his leg making him laugh.

"You're crazy bruh." He mumbled before putting on his headphones.

I closed my eyes and within minutes I was sleep. I woke up to Kai nudging me awake as we'd just landed in New York. It was then we parted with Fanum as he was going to visit his family and I was going with Kai to his mom's house.

"Mommy!!" He yelled as he walked through the front door.

"Kai?! Is that you?!" She yelled back in her heavy Trinidadian accent. Kai proceeded to walk towards the sound of her voice, seeing her in the living room along with all of his siblings.

"Hey everybody." I greeted with a wave, receiving greetings back as they all stood up from there spots on the couch.

"Mommy this my friend Tori-" Kai started, "OUR friend." Kaiya interrupted as she excitedly came to give me a hug.
