Tori pulled herself out of Kai's bed, grabbing her scattered clothes off of the floor and throwing them on. It was at that moment Kai exited his bathroom, looking at her with confusion to see her redressing herself.

"You was cold or something?" He questioned, taking a few steps closer to her.

Tori chuckled "No, I just figured you'd take me back home before it got too late." She explained to him.

"I thought you was staying with me." Kai pouted.

"Not tonight." She said standing off the bed, now fully dressed, "Come on, get ready." She instructed, throwing Kai his shirt.

"T, come on it's still early." Kai spoke checking his phone to see it was only 10pm.

"Exactly, I can get home and you don't have to be out too late. Or you can just have your driver--" Tori started causing Kai approach her and grab her hands, making her stop talking.

"I'll take you home, just not now. At least, play the game with me or something." Kai said, willing to do anything to get her to stay at least another hour.

Tori was a little surprised, they'd already spent the day together. She figured by now he'd want his space, or at least want to get some work done.

"Alright, just a couple of rounds though." She agreed putting a smile on Kai's face. He released her hand and walked over to get his game set up for them to play. Tori followed behind him, sitting in the chair she had set up for him.

They spent so much time together and yet whenever it was time to go, he always did whatever he could to extend it even if just for a few more minutes. Obviously, things were different now, but most of the time, it still felt like they were just best friends having fun and enjoying one another's company.

Kai often surprised himself with his own actions when it came to Tori. Had she been anybody else he would've had her gone hours ago. He had always been willing to go above and beyond for Tori, but after taking things to the next level, he was doing things he'd never done before, sexually and emotionally. Even with no idea as to where things were going, Kai was sure there wasn't another girl in the world capable of bringing the things Tori did out of him. He'd told her she was special from all the others, and it was his mission to make sure she believed him.

The two had been doing exactly what they'd agreed upon, not stressing and just going with the flow, but Tori couldn't deny she liked to see how much Kai cared about her at this level of their relationship. Tori couldn't believe how happy she had been feeling these past two weeks. She'd always known Kai was her safe place, but this was a different level. She couldn't even remember the last time she even thought about taking some pills. Tori felt like she didn't need them, enjoying the natural high life was giving her right now.

"Alright, you ready to catch this L?" Kai teased as he loaded up Mario Kart 8, "Don't get to breaking shit when you lose." Tori spoke with a laugh making Kai smack his teeth.

"Whatever, come on." He mumbled, locking into the game for a friendly competition.

As the two became engaged in the game, they had no idea their night was soon to take a drastic turn.
