CHAPTER 29

We are already at our house and as soon as we entered, we saw dad sitting while talking to their visitor.

I was so surprised when I saw my ex, Anne. She's my ex who didn't want to leave me alone, but wait, what is she doing here?.

"Good thing you're here, I have something to tell you Dylan, come here and sit down." Dad said.

When I sat down, daddy immediately started talking.

" Anne and you are getting married because her family is our business partner." He seriously said that.

"What?! No!, I don't want to marry that girl!" I said.

"You can't do anything because I will be the one to follow here" He said in angry tone.

" Since I was a child, I have followed everything you wanted, even until now, do I still need to do everything you want? Aren't the things I did for your business enough?" I said.

"Can I please make my own decision first? Honestly, it's exhausting to always follow your orders, dad." Paos kong sabi.

"I do everything you want, but I don't want to marry her. because I already love someone else. I hope you respect that." I look into Dad's eyes.

" No. You still need to follow what I said, no more but's and this is also for our company." He said in angry tone again.

" Come to think of it, when did you ever consider my feelings? Ever since I was a child, you never asked me what I wanted Because you always want what you want, you don't think about how we feel." I Said and went up to my room.

I don't want to hear what he's going to say again because I'm tired of listening to what he wants.

While I was lying down, mom immediately went to my room and sat beside me.

"Anak, pumayag kana sa sinasabi ng daddy mo, para satin din naman 'to e" Mom's request.

"But mom, I'm tired of following his orders." I said in sad tone.

"Please? Last na 'to promise ko sayo" she smiled at me.

Even though it goes against my feelings, I will just agree because that's also what mommy wants, because she said it's also for us.
