I stood before Youn Fret, a wide grin remaining on my face. "Well well, let's see how easily you go down, like all the others before you." And then, I race towards him, knives in hand. He grunted, and lifted his large battle axe, to block my knives, and the blades clashed. I jumped back, a few meters away now. He ran towards me, his feet causing the place to shake as he ran, swinging his axe around, towards me. I smirked, and dashed to the side. That's one of the perks of being small, I thought to myself. He roared in anger. I let out a bored sigh. It'd barely been a few seconds and this was already boring. "I thought you'd be more fun, but you're just a large obstacle with no brains. No thoughts are put into your movements. You aren't even worth killing. Eric, can you do this for me instead? I'm borrreeed" I say, and look up to where he was hiding. Within a few seconds, the man called Youn, right before, dropped. I checked his pulse. It was gone, his body had gone as cold as ice itself. His red face went pale, ugly for sure. "Ewww, he's so ugly-let's burn him, set up the explosives and get outta here, okay Eric?" I smiled, as Eric came down from the beams above, a white match in hand.
"May I do the honor?" I said with the same, crazed look on my face. Eric nodded, and handed me the match. I scratched it against the ground, lit it, and threw the glowing flame on the cold body beneath me. "Ok now let's go set up the explosives" I said with a giggle before running out of the room with Eric right behind me. We split up, and I ran towards the south end of the mine, and took a small bomb out of the pocket of my dress, unnoticed. Then, I hear a dissapointed sigh. I find myself not in the mine, but now in a very open field, with one tall oak tree atop the hill I had arrived on. Below was a burning village. Not this again, I thought to myself. I turned, and saw a little girl. Her hair was matted, but still white. Her face was plastered with dirt, and her skin was covered in bruises and torn skin. She opened her mouth and began to speak.
" Circe, stop this please...stop killing...it's scary..." the child's tone was high pitched and scratchy, deprived of happiness at all. I felt rage and shouted "Shut up! You don't know anything, Valia! Leave me and my mind alone!" My voice was strained. I was an angry, nothing like how I had been before, the crazed smile on my face gone. I turned to the burning village "Why do you keep showing me this every time I kill...I should just kill you!" I cried, and ran towards the girl with a knife, but then blinked and found myself right where I was before, the bomb in front of me. I sighed, and the smile returned to my face again. "Silly me, I got distracted, gotta set up the bomb!" I hummed a bit, and put the two wires together, and pressed a button, setting the time for the bomb to go off in thirty minutes. My laugh was high and a bit quiet as I ran, exiting the mine, the cool night air on my face, finally. I see Eric exit. I smile. "Let's do this" I said, and the minute I did, a loud boom could be heard. We walked away from the mine, as it exploded right behind us like in a movie. I hummed again, skipping along on the path, when suddenly everyone came out of hiding, a grim look on their faces, even Mary. Tara was the first to speak.
"Circe...the boss wants to speak with you"
And with that, the smile and my face dropped just a tiny bit.

As we walked along the path, my smile wasn't as wide as it usually was, and unfortunately for me, Eric noticed. "Aye Circe, ever since we left the mine your smile hasn't been as...wide as it usually was. Did something happen?" He asked, slight concern in his usually light tone. I widened my smile and said "Yeah yeah, I'm fine silly! The mission was kinda boring but I had a little fun. Maybe I am just dissapointed by how boooorrrrriiiing that was!" I laughed, and he joined in, and Mary gave a disgusted scowl. "You guys are so child-like, and Circe that Mission should have gone by quicker, quicken the pace and grow up!" And she faced back to the path.
"Somebodies grumpy as usual" I whispered to Eric, and everyone started laughing, not Mary though of course.
We then arrived back at the circus, where we had set up. We all quickened our pace slightly as we approached the tent where I would have my...meeting. I took a breath, looked at everyone with my usual smile, and lifted the curtain and entered. There was a computer in the middle. I went over and typed some things in, like the password and all. I saw a link to a video call, took a breath and clicked it. It said it would let the person on the other side know I was waiting....so I waited...and waited..and waited. Then, I saw it. The screen had a black background with a white shape of a man in the middle. I voice came from it.
"Hello, Circe. Do you know why I asked to meet with you today?" It said. I swallowed and responded.
"No, I don't sir." I was feeling fear, and emotion I felt almost never, at all. Of course I was scared, this was the man who was the leader of the Clear Water Mafia, the one I belonged to. A low chuckle came from the screen.
"I wanted to have a little "chat" about Mary. She's been a little...disobedient lately. You know what we do to disobedient people, right?" My fear suddenly vanished, turning into a wide grin.
"Oh yes, of course I know. I'll do it tonight." The voice spoke again from the computer
"Good girl, Circe. Remember, make it bloody but only seen by the others. They'll know." And with that, the computer shut off. My eyes widened, and I laughed to myself with a psychotic grin on my face. Oh what fun tonight would be! I thought to myself, and exited the tent with a grin on my face. I could hear the gulps of the others, as they knew when I exited with a grin...hell was coming. "Now now, let's go to bed everyone. We all need a lot of sleep" and everyone nodded while smiling nervously and laughing quietly. We headed back to our personal tents, and there was a skip in my step. I hummed a tune of a song I once knew called "Dead Mary." It was fitting, is what I thought. Now, where would I hang the body, to show everyone the Message Of Death?
