The girl with white hair, known as Valia ran, gasping and panting, falling to the ground beside the body of her friend, her eyes wide with panic as she frantically tried to awaken him, not knowing she'd never see him alive again as Valia.
"Wake up Fin wake up! Fin! Fin wake up! This isn't a funny joke! Get up!" She cried aloud, and covered her mouth with her hands, trying to keep herself from throwing up. So much blood everywhere. The grass was stained with it, and so was the single oak tree she was beside. Her body shook like crazy. Eric tried to run, but the other Valia held him, and shook her head.
"She, or well, I, won't hear you." With those words, all Eric could do was watch it all unfold. The girl cried, and let out a scream filled with so much anguish and pain, so angry, like a glass shattering. She looked so full of emotions, unhappy ones, and it would make any sane persons stomach turn. The wind was howling around them, and the loose blades of grass that had blood splattered in them slowly blew away, to burn the scent of death to the next village, and the next and so on. Valia tried to do CPR on Fin, but she didn't know how to properly do it. Then, behind her, she heard a single, small set of footsteps, and a loud, scared gasp. She didn't want to turn around, fearing that the voice from that gasp would math the persons face she was thinking of, she slowly stood up, and saw a boy, with short white hair that matched her own, the same eyes filled with shock, matching thunderclouds, and a face filled with terror and complete anguish. That face was the boy known as Jack, the twin of Valia. He looked at her, then the body's then her, and then back and forth. He had been unconscious. He wouldn't know that it wasn't her who did this. His eyes stared at her, now with fear and anger.
"Murderer. Y-You're a MURDERER! VALIA! HOW COULD YOU KILL HIM? H-HE WAS LIKE OUR B-BROTHER! YOU'RE A M-MONSTER!"
Those words rung throughout the air, down the hill, back up and through Valias' head. She looked like she wanted to speak, but she couldn't. How could she explain how she didn't kill him? She managed to say twelve words, before turning tail and running away for the second time,
"Look inside your heart, Jack. Would I really do something like th-this?"

The scenery switched again, to a vast, open field with long blades of grass that reached her knees. She was distraught, and confused, looking like she was slowly losing whatever sanity she had left, if she did at all. She didn't even notice that there were men behind her, all dressed in black. They all circled around her, and she looked up, her eyes wide with alarm. They all grinned, and spoke something among the lines of:
"Pretty young girl"
"What should we do with her, hm?"
"She looks fun!"
They all were stepping closer and closer, but then, there was a loud BANG, and that's when Valia witnessed someone dying before her eyes for the very first time. One of the men had blood come from his head and they dropped to the ground, eyes rolled back, and he died, right then and there. The rest of the men soon followed in his path. Valia covered her mouth, and looked around, nearly pulling a muscle in her neck most likely, trying to find the source of the loud noise, and the person who was responsible for the deaths of the men in front of her. She heard a low chuckle, that sounded friendly, but if you were anyone else besides a scared child like Valia was, they would hear the sinister undertone to it. Valia turned around, and saw a man, his mouth in a wide grin, his eyes shut as he tilted his head to the side, and slowly walked towards her. Valia backed away, and not seeing the limb of a man who had died, she fell backwards onto the ground, and looked up in panic at the man.
"Now now, little one, I mean no harm to you in any way"
His voice was low, not deep but low, soft with a hint of malice, Valia couldn't detect it though, only Eric and the other "Valia" could. The girl tried to move away, but she found herself paralyzed in fear. The man didn't come any closer to her, and just started to speak.
"I wonder what a little one like you would be doing so far out here, hm? I did find a village far away from here that was...well let's just say not in the best state. I wonder if you're from there, young one. Ah, you're probably wondering why I saved you? Well, that's because who would leave a little girl like you all alone?"
His smile seemed genuine, but there was more to it. His eyes and all were blurred out, likely a part of a memory that must never be seen. It was one of the many mysteries of the human mind, but that didn't matter. Valia slowly stammered
"I-I am from th-that village, sir"
The man chuckled softly once again, and said
"Ah, I thought so. I like your hair, it's very unique and bright"
He pointed at her hair, which was wet and messy, but the white still shone through.
"May I-I ask what y-you want from me sir?"
Her voice was shaking, even if she would try to act brave, she was clearly terrified. The man's smile dropped a little at her fear, as if he was...disappointed at her fear of him, but he shook his head and spoke up again
"Ah, well I think it'd be best for me to take you somewhere safe, no? You look so scared. May I ask your name though, dear?"
Valia was trembling, probably memories of what had happened before went through her.
"I-I don't...I-I was called a m-monster...maybe that's a more f-fitting name"
The man's smile vanished, the pity on what was able to be seen of his face clear
"Now that won't do, now will it? Monster isn't a name anyone should have. Would you like a new name, my dear?"
She didn't know why, but this man's "kindness" was so...welcoming to her. She is only a young girl, and little kids trust more easily than most. The emotions she felt at this moment were likely trust and a bit of fear, but before she could really help herself, she answered with
"Yes...I would"
The man's smile returned, and he said
"Then a new name you shall receive. From now on you will be called....Circe, meaning "bird." You are a bird who has just been freed from its cage. Now, are you ready to come along with me, little one, or shall I now saw, Circe?"
The man extended his hand, and though she was wary, "Circe" took his hand, and slowly stood up, and held his hand as they walked away together, towards the setting sun. A new hatred had been born, but it was also a new "beginning" for this young girl.
