i looked up and watched as gigi walked into the kitchen. her hair was everywhere and she was rubbing the sleep from her eyes.

"good morning gorgeous" i said giggling.

"morning mommy" she said sitting down. i stared at her hair. she really does have long hair.

"what ?"

"your hair" i said. she looked into her phone camera and giggled.

"ohh juju said that i could go to her house to swim and play with her new little puppy.. can i go ?"

i looked up at her. because although i'm happy she's making friend im not to big on trusting folks especially when it comes to my daughter. i been paranoid since the day she was taken.

"mm idk" i said.

"aww why not ? you know juju she's like my best friend now." gianna reasoned.

"and i understand that baby but you know how many kids are killed when going to a friends house ? it's just hard for me to let you go especially after what happened" i told her.

"but i thought you wanted me to make friends"

"i do but it's only been 4 months gigi.. maybe a little bit more time". i watched as she huffed. i never wanna take away stuff like this from her especially as a teenager but my mom instincts are kicking in.

"yeah sure" she mumbled getting up.

"excuse me what ?"

"nothing" she said with an attitude.

"gianna please don't give me a hard time. look as your mother i'm just being safe. i can't take anymore risks"

"so what i'm supposed to be cooped up in here for the rest of my life" she asked me.

"ofc not just until your 19" i said laughing.

"omg"

"i'm kidding love bug relax. just give it a few more months. but i have work to finish so.. imma be in the back yard if you need me" i said kissing her forehead.

"your keeping her from the one girl who stood up for her in a class full of clowns and childish people ?" ty asked.

"look i'm just trying to be safe"

"i get that bestie but juju would never hurt her. she's been trapped for so long don't do this to her. she's making friends".

"yeah.. okay i'll talk to her" i told ty.

"good but how are you doing ?" she asked me.

"good and you ?"

"good i can't wait til we can see each other"

"ugh me too".

i sat on my bed and called juju. i know my mom worry about me especially after what happen but i trust juju and her parents. they would never hurt me. but i can't blame my mom.

"hey girl" juju said smiling.

"hey bestie.. so i asked my mom if i could come over" i said.

"and ?? what did she say ?"

"guess"

"no ?? but why ? i'm really nice" juju trailed off.

"ikk and it's not you! my moms just extra overprotective now.. yk after that she's just worried" i said and she nodded.

i talked to juju more and heard a knock. "come in" i said. i saw my mom at the door. she was wearing a black nike bra and nike shorts. i just admired because my mom don't even look like she had a baby. she's just so beautiful.

"hey so i wanted to talk you" she said sitting on my bed.

"ohh juju imma call you back okay ?"

"okay girl! be safe"

"you too" we said goodbye and hung up. i threw my phone beside me and looked at my mom.

"so i thought about it and i decided to let you go" she said making me smile.

"omg your the best" i said hugging her tightly.

"mhmm but your phone on at ALL times and keep yo location on so i can see where you are at all times. if i call you better answer cus if you don't imma coming."

"i will i promise, thank youuu" i said excitedly. she smiled at me and kissed my forehead. she got up and walked towards the door.

"ohh mommy ?"

"yes baby ?"

"i'm sorry about the way i acted" i said.

"it's okay i get it. teenage feelings i was one of em. your a good kid" she said smiling at me. she closed the door and i called juju back.

"omg guess what ?"

"what ?"

"she said i can come!! i can't wait to see little duece.. is he bad ??"

"not really he's actually a good puppy.. he loves to cuddle" juju said smiling.

"soo you and bryce ?" she asked. "mm we're just friends" i said blushing.

"yeah sure girl.. i hear you" juju replied.

"but you and bronny date ?" i asked. "mhmm we've been dating for almost a year now and tbh i did not think it would happen lol"

"because bronny and i were always friends. we never saw each other like that.. up until we got partnered up in chem class and yk the feelings started coming" she said and i nodded.

"well my mom would probably kill me if she found out i had a bf.. well i wouldn't say she would have a heart attack but she probably wouldn't be to fund of it" i said.

"speaking of him he's calling so imma call you back and let yk what he says"

"okay girl" juju said excitedly. she so messy lol. i hung up and answered bryce's call. i'm so nervous like the butterflies in my stomach.

"hello ?" i asked.

"hey ma.. i haven't heard from you today so i had to make sure you were good." he said making me blush. why is he so sweet ?

"sorry i slept in so late lol. i really appreciate it tho. wyd" i asked.

"nothing just got done whooping bronny's butt in 1v1" he said making me giggle. they are both so competitive and always arguing about who better.

"you two are so competitive"

"no fr but i can't wait to beat you too why you laughing" he said.

"oh boy please it's on"

"bet and im not letting you win either"

"whatever" i said laughing.

after talking to both bryce and juju i went downstairs. i sat on the couch beside my mom. "what is it love bug ?" she asked me.

"nothing just admiring. your so beautiful mommy. you don't even look like you had a baby. the body is just bodying" i told her.

"aww thank you baby. i'm happy i get to be a single hot mom lol. it's really sweet of you tho cus i done put in so much work tryna stay fit" she said. i smiled at her and nodded.

"so are you gonna help me get fit for basketball ?" like a diet and stuff ?" she raised her eyebrows at me and then shook her head.

"gianna you don't need to be on no diet baby. your body is fine the way it is. if you want to workout and gain more muscles then that's fine but you don't need to be on a diet. your only 13 love you still gotta grow into your body" she told me.

"do you think i'm gonna make to the wnba ?" i asked.

"ofc.. i think your gonna be amazing love bug.. just keep going after your dream and make it happen" she told me. i nodded and laid my head on her chest. i can't wait to make it happen.
