"maybe we should ask her how she feel about going back to therapy ?" i said to jackie as i put her feet on my lap.

"ja i saw my daughter try to kill herself. i don't need to ask her how she feels about therapy. i want her to find a safe so we really don't have a choice" she told me.

"she's my daughter to jackie. why can't we just talk about this without you smart mouthing me ?" i asked getting irritated.

"i never said she wasn't jamel. yes she's your daughter just as much as mine but idk why you feel like we have to ask her when our daughter needs help"

"because if we send her there and she doesn't wanna go it's only gonna hurt her more jacqelyn."

"ja imma need you to bring it down." jackie said.

"man aight, i'm not even finna do this sh** man" i said grabbing my jacket. i watched as she got up and stood in front of the door.

"ma move" i said rubbing my forehead.

"no. we're not doing this. this is the reason we broke up the first time cus of communication skills. we gotta learn how to talk this out and not yell at each other" she said.

"i love a mature woman" i said pushing her against the wall. i smashed my lips against hers.

"you so bipolar" she said laughing.

"okay how about we talk to her and see how she feel about it you right i want her to be comfortable" jackie said making me smile.

"ahhh look at us.. working this out like some adults" i said hugging her.

"mmhm prada us" jackie said smiling.

"ouuu get a room" we heard gigi say. we both looked at her and laughed.

"girl whatever" jackie said as we followed her into the kitchen.

"mom can i go with you to the phoenix for all star weekend ?" gigi asked her.

"idk baby that's a lot. yk i got early practices and you need as much sleep as you can get."

"i will be fine i'll go watch you practice at anytime. PLEASEEEE there's some people i need to sign my jersey and stuff" gigi begged.

"fine" jackie said giving in. "YOUR THE BEST" gigi yelled kissing all over her face.

"mhm yeah ik" jackie said making me snicker. she looked at me and scoffed.

"what's so funny ? you denying that i'm the best ?"

"no ma'am" i said putting my hands up in defense.

gigi and i walked off the plane and went to our hotel. ja was just gonna drive here. "you look so cute mama" gigi said making me smile.

"thank you baby" i said. "omgg gigi let's go take pictures" syd said coming into our hotel.

"dang can you wait for me ?" i asked sarcastically.

"i mean we could but you take forever" syd whined. "oh girl you take longer than i do" i said grabbing my phone.

"alright let's go" gigi said grabbing my hand. we made our way to the arena and took pictures. everyone was really focused on gigi and i didn't mind because she's happy and that's all i care about.

"omg mommy there's angel i have to go get an autograph and a picture" gigi said excitedly. she let go of my hand and i pulled her back.

"mommy" gigi whined.

"girl don't be running of like that."

"all these people here nothings gonna happen"

"yeah and i thought the same thing 11 years ago when i was in the grocery with more than 5 people around me."

"look your just gone have to except the fact that im extra overprotective now love bug. i can't help it cuz i swore to myself i would never let nobody hurt you again" i told her. she nodded at me.

"okay we can go get your picture" i told her and she smiled at me.

"hi angel. im such a big fan can i have your autograph ?" gigi asked.

"omg yes your so pretty. we're basically like besties now" angel said making me smile.

"hey will you keep an eye on her while i run to the bathroom ?" i asked angel. she smiled at me.

"i would love too. now i can get to know my new little bestie" she said making me smile.

"thank you pretty"

"i will be back baby imma run to the bathroom cus i'm sweating off the little bit of makeup i do have on" i told her laughing. she nodded at me.

i went into the bathroom to fix myself up. i was so in my head ian even realize someone was in here.

"hey jackie"

"omg" i said jumping. "sorry i didn't mean to scare you" tasha said laughing.

"no it's fine lol.. i was so in my head i never realized you were in here" i said laughing.

"how's gigi ?" she asked me.

"she's good.. just taking it day by day yk. but she's here. she is with angel right now so you might find her out there somewhere" i said laughing.

"it was good to see you" tasha said hugging me.

"you too" i said smiling lightly hugging her back.

i'm not a rude person and i hope she don't take it the wrong way i'm just really shy and folks be making me nervous. it will always be love on my end tho.

i walked back out and i saw angel and gigi. she came over to me i could see her face stained with tears.

"woah what's wrong baby ?" i asked as she leveled out her breathing.

"idk you were gone for forever and i just started to freak out" she said wiping her tears making me chuckle. she worry about me so much.

"i'm fine love bug. it's okay i promise i'm okay" i said hugging her.

"i'm sorry i took so long and scared you. i ended up running into tasha" i told her.

"that's okay.. i'm just glad your okay" she said.

"okay no more tears baby. yk their gonna want more pictures of you. clean yah face and take a deep breath" i said wiping her face for her.

"okay let's go" she said grabbing my hand. we walked over to where aja and caitlin where and sat down gigi sat on the floor in between my legs.

i played with her hair as the 3 point contest was about to start. "what did you do to my niece ?" aja asked me making me scrunch up my face.

"girl i ain't do nothing. she got upset cus she thought something happened to me while i was in the bathroom" i said.

"oh okay cus i thought i was gone have to slap you" she said making me laugh.

"girl boo" i said laughing.

i watched as gigi was really focused on the contest. i can tell she's gonna be a baller not being biased. just on how focused she in as well as determined.
