i sat down in my seat for first block and pulled out my phone. i put my airpod and texted my mom.
my princess🎀: good morning mommy hope you have a good practice/day. i love you🩷🩷.
mommy🥰: good morning my baby🥹.. thank you and i hope you have a good day too! i love you forever more 🫶🏾🫶🏾.
"hey is this seat taken ?" a boy asked.
"no you can sit if you want" i said smiling at him. he smiled back and sat down.
"thank you" he said and i nodded.
he was tall with glasses and had pink plump lips. he was wearing a plain white t-shirt with nike shorts. he looked like he play basketball.
"i'm bryce" his deep voice spoke.
"i'm gianna" i said to him. we continued to talk and get to know each other. he asked for my number and i happily gave it to him.
"okay guys stop talking and find your seats for i get mad" he said making me giggle.
it's been about 30 minutes since class started and all we have done was laugh and laugh. bryce keep making jokes and i've spent so much time tryna hold in my laughs my face turned red.
"bryce omg stop" i said laughing quietly.
after first block we walked down the hall together just talking since we had a little time before second block.
"hey bryce where's your brother ?" juju asked huffing.
"mm idk i haven't seen him since school started. why ?"
"because he texted me on some bull this morning and then blocked me. something about me talking to another dude at a party" she said.
"oh hey gigi" she said making me smile.
"hey juju" i said.
"you wanna come to my house this weekend ? i just got a new puppy and we can go swimming after practice" she said and i nodded.
"ouu i would love too i will just ask my mom. what's the puppy's name ?"
"duece" she said.
"okay here's my number imma text you" i said putting my number in her phone.
"bet see you. and bryce tell yo ugly brother to unlock me"
"he ugly but you dating him.. how that work ?" bryce said laughing.
"bryce go choke" she said walking away.
"anywho have you made any new friends others than that and the basketball girls ?"
"omg don't call my friend a "that" but no not yet but i feel like it'll come when the time is right" i told him and he nodded.

"so do she like school ?" kiah asked me.
"yes she loves it.. she done made some friends and stuff and she loves being around people because yk she trapped and alone for so long" i said.
i grabbed my phone and answered gigi's call.
"hello ?"
"mom can you come get me ? my second block teacher and the class were making jokes about me being taken and they were laughing" she said crying.
"woah baby what ? calm down" i said walking into the locker room quickly.
"can you come get me i don't wanna go back in there"
"yeah im coming love bug just lemme get my stuff. hey its okay baby.. just wipe your face and i'll be there" i told her.
"jackie why you look mad ?"
"cus these people finna p*ss me off. making jokes about how she was taken and sh** now don't be mad if i blow that mf up" i said making them gasp.
"JACQUELYN" sydney said holding her chest.
"i'm sorry lord forgive me cus ion talk like that but they done made me mad"
"yup let's go cus i fight kids" aja said.
"i'm coming too i wanna slap some chirrens" chelsea said.
i grabbed my stuff and we went to my car. it was me, chelsea, aja, and sydney. i'm already knowing aja finna act up. i'm really debating on calling her dad but ja might shoot that school up so.
"cus i already told them kids to keep it cute when it comes to GIANNA MARIE" aja said.
"RIGHT CUS I WOULD HATE TO HAVE TO SLAP THEM LIL KIDS" chelsea said.
"ion play with peoples youngins" sydney said.
we pulled up to the school and i texted gigi that i was here. she came out of the bathroom and walked over to me. her eyes were filled with tears and her face was red.
"aw my baby.. it's okay" i said as she hugged me.
"gigi you okay ? i'm sorry about what they said i tried to get them to stop" juju said.
"ik thank you tho. it's really nice having someone to back me up" she said sniffing.
"thank you juju.. imma just gonna take her home and calm her down we'll be back tomorrow to talk to the principal" i told juju.
"yeah and TO SLAP SOME KIDS TOO" aja said.
i went to the office and checked her out and headed to the gym. after dropping aja nem off headed home.
gigi went upstairs to shower and i did a little bit of work on my laptop. after about 20 minutes i decided to go check on gigi cus she hasn't come down to eat yet. i walked upstairs and went to her room where i saw her on her bed.
"hey you okay ?"
"mhmm"
"you can talk to me love bug" i said sitting down beside her. she looked at me and tears rolled down her eyes. i wiped her tears.
"idk how to feel" she said.
"and that's okay.. but you have so many people that love you and care about you. them folks don't matter because they bored and ain't got no life."
"and i'm not saying your feelings don't matter and you shouldn't be hurt about it because you should but you got so much going for you. karma gone come".
"your beautiful & worth so much baby.. i don't want you to ever question your worth or how beautiful you are. you matter baby and what happened to you doesn't define you."
"you promise you'll love me forever ?" she asked.
"always baby. imma love you until i take my last breath." i told her.
she hugged me tightly and i wiped my tears. i grabbed her hands and led her downstairs. we ordered pizza and decided to watch a movie so she could calm down. she laid her head on my chest and i rubbed her forehead.
