i walked out the bathroom and grabbed my phone. bryce texted me to lmk that he was on his way over. i finished my morning routine and then washed my hair.

i walked downstairs as i waited for my hair to dry so that my mom can curl it. i walked into the kitchen and saw my parents.

"morning baby." my mom said.

"morning mom morning dad" i said sitting down.

"your hair is wet" my dad said making me giggle.

"yeah i just washed it and mommy's gonna curl it later on" i said and he nodded.

"here my love" my mom said handing me a plate and apple juice.

"thank you" i said happily. she smiled at me shook her head.

"d***" my mom whispered making me look at her.

"whats wrong ?" my dad asked.

"the gc texted and apparently someone ran over alysha's dogs & yk how sydney is" she said.

"aww it died ?" i asked sadly ?

"yess & ik how much you loved her dog" my mom said rubbing my forehead.

i finished my breakfast and then washed my plate before i heard bryce knock on the door. i went to the door and let him in.

"hey ma" he said kissing me.

"hey" i said leading him to the couch.

we talked and he told me about school and basketball.

"so how are the girls ?" i asked.

"uhh. their okay just not the same without you" he said and i nodded sadly.

"i miss them. and basketball" i said.

"but yk this is gonna be so good for you love. your gonna come back a better version of yourself" he said making me smile.

"so there is something i wanted to talk to you about" he said.

"okay wassup baby ?" i asked.

"so there's this party this weekend. and the team is going" he said making nod in confusion.

"okay.. we'll have fun" i said confused.

"look my ex gone be there and she kissed me at school yesterday" he said quickly.

"she did what ?" i asked. because did i hear that correctly or what.. i know you lying please don't play with me. not today.

"she kissed me.. but i pushed her off and told her i had a girlfriend" he said.

"and you ain't think to tell me that bryce ?"

"because ik you would act like this bae" he said.

"like what ? how you want me to feel when my boyfriends ex kissed him." i asked raising my voice.

"mama calm down. it just happened man ionk what else you wanted me to do"

"you shouldn't have let her come near you at all but you want me to calm down ?" i yelled.

"gianna i really don't wanna at argue bae".

"then don't bryce. you completely disregarded my feelings and it's like they don't matter".

"i never disregarded your feelings baby. i just knew you would freak out over nothing".

"it's not nothing man stop saying that" i yelled as i felt the tears roll down my face.

"baby why you crying ?" he asked walking towards me. i backed up and wiped my face.

"bryce please my emotions are everywhere" i said.

"aren't they always ?? but i learned how too help you through that you just gotta talk to me and not yell".

"did you just ask me if my emotions are always everywhere ? what you tryna say bryce ? you got a depressed gf who doesn't see her worth and wanna die almost everyday she wake up ?" i yelled.

"ma that's not what i meant" he said.

"ykw forget it." i said.

"bae don't tease" i breathed out as he sucked on my neck. he smirked at me and shoved his lips against mine.

10 seconds later we heard arguing and it was most definitely gianna. "what" i asked as we got up.

"woah woah what's wrong" i asked.

"bryce let his ex kiss him" gigi said in tears.

"ma i did not she kissed me and i pushed her away and told her i had a gf" he said to me.

"but you shouldn't have let her near you bryce. then he totally disregarded my feelings by telling me to calm down and implied that my emotions are always over the place" gigi said in one breath as tears continued to fall.

"baby you and bryce just need time to gather yourselves. yall had yall first fight and let me tell you that sh** hurt. but it takes communication to work it out but obviously your too upset right now so you need to cool off" i said hugging her.

"no tears baby" i said wiping her face.

"your just insecure gigi and i would never hurt you man. you tryna make me seem like the bad guy" bryce said irritated.

"nobody's making you seem like nothing bryce but you know if that was vice versa you would be tripping right now. it's not normal for your ex be kissing you when you have a gf" gigi yelled.

"but i pushed her off gianna you act like i kissed her back" he yelled.

"tuh probably did. i wonder what else your not telling me" she said.

"okay um you two that's enough. gigi go to your room."

"bryce get out" gigi yelled.

"whatever man. you tripping on my soul. if you ever thought i would hurt you then you really don't know me" he said.

"well you already did so ig i don't know you" gigi said. bryce shook his head and left. i turned to gigi who's face was red and eyes were filled with tears.

"guys could've been easily talked about" ja said and i nodded.

"i can't right now" gigi said through tears as she went to her room. i sighed and hugged ja.

"our baby had her first fight with her partner and she look like me. she's really hurt right now" i said as he rocked us back and forth.

"their growing up and it's important for them to learn how to communicate" ja said making me laugh.

"ohh ja stop you couldn't communicate to save your life. and you can barely communicate now" i said making him roll his eyes.

"sassy ahh" i said giggling.

"well im working on that ma. even if i do struggle you gone always know how much i love you" he said making me blush.

"i love you forever baby" i said as he kissed me.

"mm come on im sleepy and i got practice later" i mumbled into his lips.

"let's go cuddle then ma" he said gripping my butt. i smiled and led him upstairs.

deep down i wanna go hold gianna and tell her everything will be okay but i gotta let her calm down and give her a little bit of space first.
