gigi and i walked hand in hand into the gym for practice. it is currently 6 a.m. and i had gigi out of bed by 5:45 and she actually did really good.

i stopped at duncan donuts to get coffee and get her breakfast. she sat down at the table as she watched netflix. i gave her my phone and put my coffee beside her.

"good luck mommy" she said kissing my cheek.

"thank you baby" i said. i walked over to aja and jewell.

"HEYY JACKIEE" jewell yelled making me scrunch up my face because it's way too early.

"jewell please it's to early" i said making her laugh.

"hey girl" i said hugging her.

"did ja make it ?" aja asked.

"yeah he got here at 2 a.m. so he's still sleeping right now" i said making her nod.

"and gigi willingly came to your early practice ?" jewell asked making me nod.

"yeah she loves watching my practice and she will not miss one no matter what time it is" i said.

"that's dedication right there" jewell said making me nod.

"her priorities in the right spot already & she gone be an amazing hooper"

"thank you. i really think so too she's so compassionate about basketball" i replied.

"mommy smile" gigi said holding up her camera. i smiled and waved.

i went and sat down by aja and ofc she was making jokes like crazy when we are supposed to be practicing lol. idk why she's like this.

"you wanna go get breakfast after ?" aja asked making me nod.

"on you" i said making her mug me.

"jackie why are you so cheap ?? like i will never understand it".

there is no way she just called me cheap. i SAVE. there's a difference between saving and being cheap.

"first of all you ask me to breakfast so it's on you. second of all im not cheap im saving" i said.

"girl saving for what ? not a darn thing" aja said.

"for gianna's college fund" i told her.

"oh girl shut up.. gigi's gonna get a basketball scholarship to uconn so please" aja said laughing. at that point i just gave up lol.

"mommy dad's calling" gigi said answering my phone. i walked over to her and waited for her to finish talking to him then she handed me my phone.

"wassup baby ?" i asked.

"i was just wondering if you need anything before i leave ??" he asked.

"umm i think i got everything. thank you love & be safe" i told him.

"i will" he said. we said our goodbyes and hung up. i handed my phone back to gigi and ran back out in the court.

i took pictures of my mommy and saved them to my camera roll. she is always her happiest when she's on the court and i love that. she smiles a lot and it makes me happy because she has such a beautiful smile.

i finished my netflix and decided to make some tiktoks because i'm bored. and then bryce called me and i excitedly answered because i haven't talked to him in so long. and by so long i mean a couple of hours.

i answered his ft call and he smiled at me.
