gigi, ty, and i walked out the dress shop. the wedding is in 3 days and my nail appointment is tomorrow and obviously imma get my hair and makeup the day of.
i picked up my phone and saw that ja texted me.
myman😫: morning ma 🫶🏾, how'd dress shopping go ??
mamas🖤: hey ml it was good. we finna go get food and then head home 🤞🏾.
myman😫: that's good can i get a sneak peak ?? 😏😏..
mamas🖤: nope. seeing me in my dress before walking down the aisle is bad luck. you got 3 mo days baby 😝.
myman😫: yeah yeah ig 😔. see y'all when yall get home. i love you.

"okay where we eating ?" ty asked getting in the passenger seat.
"i'll look up some good places" she added and i nodded. i looked in the rear view mirror and saw gigi on her phone.
"lord why he on our a**" ty said making me nod.
"exactly like slow down" i said turning my signal lights. next thing yk she done crashed into my car .
"OMG MOMMY" gigi yelled.
"omg. d***" i said rubbing my forehead ty and i got out and the damage was done.
"man if you would've gtf off that phone you would've known to slow down" ty said as she got out. i sighed and got out.
"you okay ?" i asked gigi as i helped her out.
"whiplash" she said as blood dripped from her forehead.
i called 911 and ja along with my team to let them know. just my luck 3 days before my wedding. like it just won't stop.
this girl car was all in my trunk man.
"i'm sorry i was-"
"you wasn't paying attention we know" ty said.
"relax bestie it ain't gone do no justice screaming at her" i said.
"it's okay baby" i said to gigi as she was panicking.
"we're okay baby it's just the car my love" i said.
"no somethings wrong" she cried.
"pull your shirt up" i said looking for bruises.
"yeah there's some on your back." i said rubbing them. 3 minutes later the ambulance & police came.
"what happened ?" the officer asked.
"well she was driving a little too fast and didn't have time to slow down when i turned my signal lights on so she crashed into the back of my car."
"is anyone hurt".
"me and ty are good but my daughter is hurting and we wanna make sure she didn't break anything." i said.
"okay come with me" she said.
"no im good i don't need to go" gigi said making me nod my head.
"baby you need too. if somethings hurting then you gotta get that checked out it."
"but what if it's nothing ?"
"what if it's something ? we would rather be safe than sorry right ?" i asked and she nodded.
